Imagine this, you ShitList someone and send them more money before the SL is resolved and before you receive a refund for the initial disputed payment.

Some people need a dose of logic.

That's nothing. I decided to be a nice person and give away some free furniture on Craigslist. Nice quality stuff too. There's lots of people going through tough times, so I figured a needy family might claim the items.

A single mom calls me and asks for delivery of the items, because she has no vehicle and no way of picking them up. I decide to be a nice person and tell her that I'll deliver them free of charge if she covers my gas costs (40 mile round trip).

Guess what happens. She calls the city police and reports me for scamming her. Because I was trying to collect money for "free" items. In her mind, free items should have free delivery. I actually had two police officers at my door questioning me.

No good deed goes unpunished. Also, people are stupid.
 
Once I got a letter from state attorney for cyber crimes/fraud. One guy had almost the same domain as I did. Just my .tld was different (mine was .de and his was .com) and there were some differences in the domain was well. This guy had his whois and host hidden, but for my .de domain something like hiding the whois was not possible.

His website was a scam, mine was legit. To be honest: My website was empty. I just parked this domain. Still state attorney and police convicted me for cyber crime/fraud, no idea who translate it from german to english.

I called the state attorney and the police and they didn't understand anything about domains, whois, hosting. They had no idea that two different domains can be two completely different websites. They didn't understand they just "convicted" the wrong guy, who had nothing to do with all this. Just because my domain was a bit similar.

It was like

Me: Hi, just got your letter, this is not my domain. I don't know this website. Have no idea wtf is going on
They: Look at the domain, you registered it
Me: No, the domain is different. Mine has .de and no "-".
They: The domain is same and the website is also same
...

After 6 months I got a letter they stop investigating this.

Sometimes stupidity can really hurt. Whats really crazy is when things get out of control from official/governments side.

I have seen that too many times sadly.
Scammers will say something like "send me more money and I will fix it and give you blah blah"

Like it amazes me how many people still fall for the "I can't receive money because of some idiotic excuse so I will use your paypal and you will send it to mine"

This people just don't have any experience. They believe shit, they fall for shit, because they have never been in this situation and they just don't know any better. There are so many people all they did was just studying, hanging around in their community and basically not having any experience outside of that. These people have no idea wtf is going on.

I have seen this without sl too first they’ll complain order is pending and then suddenly order again and then open a sl these are weird folks

I was reading the SL last night before I fell asleep. That shit was too funny.

Buyer- I want the orders completed
Seller - Okay I completed 2 orders
Buyer - I want a refund not completed orders
Bass - Buyer, did you got a refund?
Buyer - No, I just bought another service that is not working, scammer!!!
Bass - what

I still wonder how Bass could understand 70% of the thread tho, I had to read the replies over and over to be able to follow the story.

I'm sure the next person would not react the same way. I hope this incident will not stop you from doing something similar in the future. There's just as many people out there who would be very grateful for your deed. It's just our human tendency that we like to cling on to negative experiences.

When the powers that be play the game of divide, we should be wise enough not to get absorbed in this play.

Well since people are talking about other people, I'll just say, I spent 30 minutes walking from the dorm parking lit back to the dorm retracing my steps because I lost my wallet.

I gave up hope and went up to my room. My wallet was in my pocket
