On one of my sites that was hit, I have a menu that repeats my keywords a lot. For example, say my site is about dog training. The menu looks something like this:
dog training tricks
when to begin dog training
5 steps to successful dog training
dog training do's and don't
dog training cheat sheet
dog training can be fun
etc.
Do you think Google is able to tell that those terms are in a separate column and are menu options rather than content keyword spam?
Each of those links goes to a page with keywords in the url, for example:
site.com/dog-training-tricks/
site.com/when-to-begin-dog-training/
etc.
So I can't easily change them without changing the URLs.
