Penguin 2.0 has begun

that is a real thing that gonna help really a lot of guys.....waiting for getting that.....

I got several pages from different niche moved from page two to page 1 ranked 2-5. so there's definitely something going on. It is affecting my site in a good way, so I really can't complain.

Well, I hope that the foxstart set of results stick

So do i, because if they do it means my penguin hit site, where i dropped from page 1 to deindexed for a keyword of 5 billion competition has returned. And you know what that means??? $$$

If the current foxstarts results stick I'm going to be a stupidly happy guy.

There are some changes going on idd, one of my sites jumped up. But I don't know if it's from Penguin or due the fact that I optimized it better yesterday eve :P

Servers in the UK. No change whatsoever on my 64 sites so far...

I thought FoxStart.com aggregates data from different search engines, not just Google. In FoxStart.com's meta description:

A custom start page with several search engines built into an all-in-one solution.

I'm not sure how reliable this is for determining whether changes are happening in Google.

looks good with this tool...but dont know is it another datacentre????

It means ebay search and stuff i think.

I found a competitor with a only 2 month old domain ranking good only with blog comments... seems the update is helping him?

I could be wrong. But my Penguin hit site just started jumping up in rankings and im seeing fluctuation across 15 sites so something has changed.

The only way a site hit by penguin can recover is if there is a refresh, right?

yes you are right the my site that was hit by penguin is back in the search and every thing that was related to my keyword in serps was just as before the penguin
i think they have role back to the pre-penguin state , I think it is just a warning just like tsunami where sea water recede to about half a mile before it comes back as a stronger tsunami wave . Lets hope that our site with this wave will be back to in serps

Question for those of you seeing improvements...

Are your sites that are improving ones that were hit with unnatural link penalties?

I've said it many times, and I will say it again. JCPenney got nailed for a major unnatural link building scheme and was penalized for 90 days. Small website owners that did the same thing essentially, but on a much smaller scale, have been penalized for 150-180 days. How Google dishes out "manual actions" certainly has the appearance of favoring large corporations.

I'm just curious if what people are witnessing is an expiration of some manual penalties and not an algorithm change?

@gorang, I hope you see nothing but positive improvements that stick with whatever is going on with Google. Such positive results could not happen to a nicer person. :)

That foxstart site is odd...showing a penalised website of mine back to 1st page again. :|
