Pc refused to power on?

I fucked up my baby last month. I guess having it on for like 200+ hours a month didn't do it any good.
That's like 8-9 days per month, 6-7 hours per day, it's nothing. These machines are built to handle a lot more than that. When i ran my bots, my notebook rests a few hours per month, maybe half a day total, but that's only when i'm traveling. My last notebook was with me for 6 or 7 years with heavy usage.

This days,they are not built to last.
 
Give it an offer which it cant refuse.

^ if this does not work go for repair. Their might be problem with motherboard. same happened with me have to spen $100 for replacing mb.

my Asus works since 2012 till now 24/7 :D a true playa !
 
Its usually the power supply / cord,Its worth ordering a new one if you have tried everything else.
 
Shut down my laptop after i had Finished working with it yesterday and tried powering it this morning and she refused to turn on! Tried everything in the book and she refused to come on! Presently...i feel like a teenager who got heartbroken by his girl friend.
Whats is laptop brand and model, i can help you, step by step.
 
@tokstesla Okay please first check your power source is good, remove source cable from adopter and put it again when plug in you listen to small shock in adapter, if you listen to this little sound power cable and source is ok.
Second : when plug adapter any led blinking or no led.
Thrid : remove battry
Do you have any other same laptop adapter.

No mate,i don't have another adapter.
 
Any led blinking, no led blinking, no blink check power jack connect it on laptop, try to connect and disconnect, maybe power jack had some problems.
remove battery, disconnect adapter, make sure a adapter is disconncted from laptop, get a screwdriver you see battery pins on laptop down frame, scroll screwdriver on pins , after this re connect adapter and try to power on,

I'm talking about my pc here, which had around 13gb ram load the whole time, as I was running a lot, and I mean a lot, of stuff. It was the power supply that went I think, Gold rated by Corsair, still didn't last

I'm just saying, that i wouldn't consider 200 hrs/month heavy use and it should take that load easily. I'm pretty sure, that quite a few of us run our machines ~24/7 with no issues for years.
I still have my Pentium 4 desktop from 2001, which i obviously don't use anymore. It's kinda weak for nowadays standards, but it's still working and until we (me & my family) used it, maybe for 10 years, it was on pretty much 24/7.
I'm using a mediocre Lenovo notebook now, it's close to 3 years old and it's also on 24/7 for the most part, running multiple instances of different social media bots, so resource usage is quite intense.
At the same time, i bought a notebook for my mother. She used it for maybe 2 years, normal use, so nothing anywhere near running it 24/7 or doing heavy tasks and one sunny day, it went poof. It had a pretty good AMD graphic card, she wasn't a player, so the machine haven't really used it much, because it had an integrated graphic card too, but the AMD graphic card still was faulty, which led to a motherboard failure.
I guess sometimes we're just unlucky with a particular machine/config, be it a factory fault or something else. It's not always the usage or just the usage, parts can be faulty from the start.

I got the PSU back in 2013, the other parts have been upgraded since then. I'm also starting to wonder if just my whole setup in general was drawing too much power from the two plugs that ran it all, do you that could have caused a power surge or something?

Your guess is as good as mine.

Practically a factory design flaw caused the failure of the motherboard in my mum's notebook, which wouldn't have happened, if the notebook would have came with a different graphic card and/or it would have been assembled differently. I guess similar things can happen easily even in entirely different equations. I'm not an electrician or even a hardware expert, but i think if the parts aren't faulty, by default they don't/shouldn't draw too much power. And we are arriving to the part where we started our convo: thanks to a heavier usage/constant heat, after all they or just one of them can become faulty and that's when they can draw too much power causing damages. But it's just speculation of course.
