Shut down my laptop after i had Finished working with it yesterday and tried powering it this morning and she refused to turn on! Tried everything in the book and she refused to come on! Presently...i feel like a teenager who got heartbroken by his girl friend.

Disconnect the AC adapter and remove the battery. Hold down the power button for at least fifteen seconds. Without replacing the battery, plug the AC adapter back into the laptop. Press the power button to turn on your laptop.
Have you tried this ?

You need to test you power supply first with a voltmeter or something, if it's working fine you need to take apart you laptop and start with verifying if the power exist then unplug the power from your laptop and try to remove the hdd and ram and put it again, or look and smell the motherboard for any burned component

Check the power supplies first if they are turned on.
If that doesn't help then please do not try to be an expert and do something which will shut her off forever.
Take that to your nearest computer shop and get it fixed.

I fucked up my baby last month. I guess having it on for like 200+ hours a month didn't do it any good. I ordered a new power supply and motherboard, but haven't had the time to set it up.

I'm now destroying my laptop by pushing nearly 5k pixels with it. I fear it'll be joining it's sister in a few weeks.

RIP

i think we are both savages. Am taking mine to the clinic today.

Its either broken power suply either you have short cirkuit on board. As it was already said before - try to unplug everything that you can, ram, hdd, etc.

Btw there's a chance that you can't measure voltage on power supply so easy. Last few years some vendors build it in such way that they do not produce any voltage and stay in sleepmode before you plug it in notebook.

Well if you see more than 2 pins on power supply plug that comes to notebook - that is the case.
