By default, you would have 5 websites on 1 IP address, for PBN that's not good at all. I don't think you can add additional IPs to DO's instance. Maybe you can, not sure, I haven't checked. I do know you can add a floating IP to your VM, but it really doesn't help much.
So technically you would want to host 1 site per instance, but it can get expensive if 1 VM costs $5

You need to have a unique IP for each site.
So if you used instances like EC2, digitalocean, linode etc it would be advisable to have your money site in a different area/country or on a different provider to the incoming? Just trying to get a picture in my head of the cheapest way to do it. Obviously if an instance can be used for more than one pbn (provided they don't link to the same one) this would be a cheap option.

Yes, because when you host 30 PBN sites in 1 instance, they will all have 1 IP. That's not the best for obvious reasons. Also this 1 IP restriction makes it ridiculously expensive to use DO, AWS, etc for PBN hosting.
