I have 8 PBN. I will use one money site (different keywords) for all 8 using the homepage and inner pages. My question is if I want to rank for blue widgets should I use that exact anchor or use a brand name, partial or URL. I feel like since these domains are powerful I have, I should use what I want to rank for. Any advice would be appreciated.

Obviously would wouldn't use your exact anchor on all 8. Maybe use exact on your strongest, and then longtail versions of it on a few others, and then mix brand and raw URL in the rest. Anchor isn't as important as it used to be. If the content around the link is about blue widgets Google can figure that out. Spamming exact match anchors across the whole network is dangerous.

in no way you should use exact match anchors or penguin will knock in your door by christmas

use long tail lsi kws instead along with naked anchors

OP don't be scared to use EMA on all of them, just make sure you diversify your link profile with other generic and lsi keywords - use GSA SER for this.

I disagree to some extent.. I would use your 8 PBN's for the most important kw's then use all the other free resources for diversity. Don't waste your good juice on keywords that do not matter or diversity. BUT... I would hit your pbn links SLOW... Like, one every few days to see how your site reacts. As long as you keep your main kw ratio at 5% or lower your good. So if you build 8 PBN links to "blue widgets" then build out 10x that amount over the same period your dripping your PBN.. Just my opinion.. Works for me....

You can use all exact match on your pbn if you already have a good anchor text profile.

If not then you should mix up your anchor text.

I would use all 8 for exact match anchor for my main keyword, and other links for diversification. Don't waste the juice on naked urls/not important keywords.

For 8 PBN use 8 different anchors. Use LSI, branded and naked anchors.

Yeah use a combination of:

Exact match
Exact phrase (a phrase with your exact match in there)
Branded match (your brand + the keyword)
Branded phrase (your brand in a phrase)
LSI phrase
Random phrase
Naked URL

The exact ratios depend on your current link profile but focus on the top 4. You can get away with a lot more density if you mix it up like that, while still maintaining relevant anchors :)

Ow and plurals! Almost forgot those - another way to mix it up.

Nice way to leave footprints.

Maybe use the same anchor text on 10 more pbns

I don't see how anchor text can be a foot print. If you get a manual review then yeah they can pick up on that.

But the algo will not hurt you for that.

And its only 8 links, I would not recommend someone with a 100 site PBN to use all exact match anchors.

article wll be yours or i have to provide you articles
