I could spam a shit load of links decent enough but still shitty to bring a site's DA up. What really matters is the quality of the links. If all the links look fine and nothing garbage on the link profile and history you should be fine. I'll be honest with you, I'm starting to not give a shit anymore about Moz factors like DA and PA because I've seen domains with low Moz metrics but still outperform based on their link profile.

Metrics are just numbers. Check the quality of backlink profile. That plays a major role than the metrics actually.

If the site has non existent TF and high DA, I am pretty sure it's spammed to crap. Try not to pay attention to DA and PA at all. Anything with high RD and decent TF will do. Keep in mind that you will not find high RD (100+) clean top TLD domains that are available to be registered. If yes, then you got very very lucky.

IMO, it's not enough to check only 2 metric parameters, use as many as you can. eventually those parameters are made up and some can be easily manipulated so use metrics only to filter out garbage - at the end you'll have to examine the BL profile for individual quality.

TF refers to quality backlinks in total backlinks. So, if the site had low TF with more backlinks, then that site won't help much.

TF is the same bullshit as DA. Example:

In content links from biomedcentral.com, newscientist.com and what not. Yet Majestic says that this domain/website is mediocre at best. No complains actually, as this way I am able to get more good domains for myself.

That literally means that the domain has no quality links, but has a huge amount of links, linking back to that domain - which explains why it has a high DA of 50+ (something like an overspammed domain), but none of the links linking back are quality - low TF.
A reputable site or a trusted site linking back to that domain, should boost the TF score - TF is a little harder to manipulate, still can but just harder, and spam links doesn't boost TF.

I guess it should work , but you need to increase TF in future also , With DA check for Ahrefs DR if all is good you can use it. One precaution is to stay careful about penalties (manual actions)
