PBN Content Question

I have a question about the amount of content on a PBN - someone said to me recently that uploading more content to an existing PBN won't make a difference and just the one homepage article on a site (with the relevant links) will give you all the power you need.

Would this not raise a red flag to Google as you'll have a site (with decent metrics) that just has 1 article on it and no other content?

Risk tolerance.
I am more risk adverse, others are more accepting of risk.
A single page PBN has it's risks, a properly build multi-page PBN lowers that risk.

Risks being:
Easier for competition to ID domains
100% guaranteed to not ever pass a review(not that most PBNs would, but a nicely made one has a slight chance of survival)
Better chance to rank

So, personal preference here.
 
You should have at least 8-10 pages of content (including about us, contact us etc). As for putting a link on the homepage article, its OK, but you have to put other links to other sites as well. You should have at 4-6 articles as a start. One homepage article won't survive a manual review

More content will increase the likelihood of the website getting ranked, getting some traffic (even to your main site) which get more juice to your main site. It will also increase the chance of surviving a manual review.

Also, one pager PBN will get caught even in algorithmic filter, so that's simply a huge no. Also, the bigger the website is, the more link juice it has to give. No need to build 50 site PBN on a low end domain, that's an overkill, but so is 1 homepage article and nothing else.

Yes you can 'get away' with a single page of content. It does look better to have more, but it depends if you really think someone will be looking. Most PBNs wouldn't pass a manual inspection even with '8 pages of quality content' - the intent is generally pretty clear.

One consideration is the size of the domain before - if it used to have 400 pages but now has one, would you trust it if you were Google? Likewise if the best links are pointing to old articles on the previous site, and you only restore the homepage and have no redirects you are wasting link equity.

This is a total fallacy. The link juice it gives purely depends on thee link juice it receives..

No it doesn't. Try to link from a footer for example, or a sidebar and then try to link from context. Or try to optimise the article you are linking from for your keyword and then try an unrelated article. There will be a world of difference in the link juice transfer in both cases. Same goes for sheer size of the domain. If you have a 5 page site that's not even interlinked, it will never give as much power as a 50 page properly interlinked site.

- topical relevancy
- internal power
- pbn generating traffic

these are killer pbns

Nope. One article is not enough. At least you have to secure your PBN by making it look natural.
 
Lol, this is totally wrong. Just think, Google will easily find it suspicious if there's only one article. Put loads of articles to make the Domain look natural.
