They wont lift that 180 day hold. Trust me. Once they do that you are 99.9% screwed. I bitched on the phone for like 30 minutes about mine before.
I had one lifted by contacting the ombudsman (FOS)

I understand things fine. From PayPal's point of view, you were high risk; birds of a feather flock together and all that.
Guilt by association is frustrating, yes, especially when one has no intent whatsoever of trying to game PayPal. But PayPal cannot statistically calculate intent, what it can statistically calculate are potentialities and likelihoods of future terms violations via associations. It is no mere coincidence, for example, that a Blackhat forum is packed to the rafters with "PayPal is the devil incarnate" threads: simple participation in this forum would likely place the lot of us, ipso facto, towards the extreme end of PayPal's risk continuum.
Is google checkout any better?
Incorrect. I was a legitimate web developer conducting business through a website and with multiple clients. I used my real address, soc number, and everything. I did things absolutely perfect and they banned me years later. If you can see things from Paypal's side, then I think you're kind of a moron. I do not normally speak that way to members because it is unprofessional, however, it seems that's what it is looking like. Good luck with your stuff man and believing in corporations that basically rob people of their money.
I don't think they mess with business accounts, i've never had an issue with mine...
