I received a payment from someone through PayPal, and a few days after that, I withdrew the balance from my account, as I don't like to keep any $ in it, as we all know how unpredictable they can be. Today, I received another payment from the same person, and PayPal now have held both payments, because they suspect something about the buyer, but I've already withdrew one of the payments, so my account has a negative balance. It's so ridiculous that I'm being charged for their mistake, but I suppose that teaches me for using PayPal, so I'm never using them again. My bank account and debit card is attached to my PayPal account, and they will try to recoup the negative balance from my bank/debit card in a week's time. I can't remove my bank or debit card from my PayPal account, so I'm wondering.....what should I do? I'm thinking just ring my bank and say "my PayPal account was hacked, and has my bank and debit card attached to it". Then, hopefully they'll be able to unauthorize PayPal from taking anything from my bank/debit card. Any suggestions? Thanks!
