Paypal just deducted $245.7... for no reason

Just got this email from paypal, i thought they were only converting EUR balance to USD on that account

But after logging in, turns out the balance was reduced by that exact amount. Insane, they just do it out of the blue

Has anyone ever received this kind of email? Googled only return one result from 2020 in paypal forum, yet no one answered

Contact paypal help, they may assist, it appears some chargeback or dispute

In that case contact their support to know why that amount was deducted.
Do you have more than 1 PayPal account ?
If you have more than one PayPal account, then PayPal may set off a negative balance in one PayPal account against a PayPal balance in your other PayPal account(s), including a balance account.
(If you hold funds in a balance account in multiple currencies, and the balance for one of the currencies becomes negative for any reason, PayPal may set off the negative balance by using funds you maintain in a different currency).
Anyways, a lesson learnt, if you have a PayPal balance type account, then do not hold much of money there, just keep withdrawing.

that's the strange part. account in question wasn't even a multi currency, hold only euro, no usd

luckily i've managed to screenshot the account balance yesterday

they emailed for currency conversion, yet deduct exact amount? is it their staff stealing under "currency conversion" cover up?

just withdrawn mine too before contacting paypal asking for more info, in case they make another attempt
 
You should connect with paypal support and ask the reason for deduction
 
Wow, that seems sketchy as hell.

There's something fishy going on here.

Contact the bastards and demand they return the funds, and explain exactly why it was deducted, if they refuse take them to the small claims court or a ombudsman.
 
Same here. I just deleted my paypal account and i decided to reopen a new account since I was practicing with it. It was some time since I open one. They just decided that they didnt want not to do any business with me because i was doing something iligal. No way of complaining, no way of telling my side of the story. Nothing. And they will not let me contact them or cancel my account with them. I need a way to tell them..Go to hell.

They goverment and some Bank entities will not allow any citizen to become with more revenues and more $ income than they have.
Its pure politics were I live. I need a way A Rebel way to go around the blockade " (Evil smile ).
I have a full portafolio of companies that I want to invest as well as some insights of pay per affiliation using AI but paypal seem the only pocket that can be used to earn money.
I need a way to get around the blockade.
Any help will be apreciate.
