I use stripe for all payments now since paypal did the same to me. Luckily I was covered by seller protection as it was physical goods.
You should take payment with bitcoin or wire I think. But it may put buyers off. Or you can ask for copies of id when you take card payments.

Yep there would be no way I would ever keep 5 figures like that sitting in a PayPal account. The next day that PayPal account would have been drained and actually placed in a safe bank account where PayPal couldn't touch it. I see this type of shit happen everyday on here but people have to learn the hard way. GL getting your money back, you're gonna need all the luck you can get.

I would be afraid to do a transaction at that amount using PayPal. PayPal is to fickle with these things.
