YUCK! Bro that's why I honestly don't run any ecom stores where customers need to use PayPal. I'm not even really running a store right now, I'm in other online money making methods but when I sell services nobody pays me through PayPal but my customer base is really small. It's not even worth it as a seller to be running an ecom store long-term with PayPal, so many of them get shutdown every single year and chargebacks are a headache. That alone will get your PayPal account frozen, happened to me and 20+ other people I know over the past 5 years. Even if you're not in trouble now you will be. There's even major companies that were using PayPal at one point who stopped using them.
If you're running an e-com business long-term you should be using your own merchant as you'll still do well charging credit/debit cards and you're not dealing with the headache of PayPal.
Crypto and CashApp aren't there just yet as far as people using them but they're better for you if you have a really small customer base.
Overall, PayPal is one of the main reasons why I don't even run an ecom store because I know customers want to use but I'm still surprised in 2021 that sellers are not smart enough to realize that PayPal can kill your entire business the moment they come out of nowhere to freeze your account. Trust me it happened to me 2 years ago, PayPal froze $93,000 of my funds and I never forgave those fuckers for that shit and they had the nerve not to return it to me. It set me back so badly financially so if you're reading this you've been warned.
