Paypal - Fraud warning

YUCK! Bro that's why I honestly don't run any ecom stores where customers need to use PayPal. I'm not even really running a store right now, I'm in other online money making methods but when I sell services nobody pays me through PayPal but my customer base is really small. It's not even worth it as a seller to be running an ecom store long-term with PayPal, so many of them get shutdown every single year and chargebacks are a headache. That alone will get your PayPal account frozen, happened to me and 20+ other people I know over the past 5 years. Even if you're not in trouble now you will be. There's even major companies that were using PayPal at one point who stopped using them.

If you're running an e-com business long-term you should be using your own merchant as you'll still do well charging credit/debit cards and you're not dealing with the headache of PayPal.

Crypto and CashApp aren't there just yet as far as people using them but they're better for you if you have a really small customer base.

Overall, PayPal is one of the main reasons why I don't even run an ecom store because I know customers want to use but I'm still surprised in 2021 that sellers are not smart enough to realize that PayPal can kill your entire business the moment they come out of nowhere to freeze your account. Trust me it happened to me 2 years ago, PayPal froze $93,000 of my funds and I never forgave those fuckers for that shit and they had the nerve not to return it to me. It set me back so badly financially so if you're reading this you've been warned.
paypal over the years has billions of unclaimed money which they locked in and people couldn't get it out , they intentionally block it so that people doesn't get it out ,most people who are out of usa for them hard to file a case and drag them to court. PayPal is a pure scam

No joke. DO NOT use your browser/os. This is a common error when you are being MiTMd (either from local network or by something residing on your OS itself).

I totally agree and this is true too where people like me have not been able to claim their money after the 180 days have been served. That's their goal once they freeze it is to block it like that and I really feel bad for the people who live outside of the US like you said because they can't even fight the case living in a different country. PayPal is a pure scam and I feel sorry anybody still using them thinking anything won't happen to them in the future.

It looks like Opera got scammed by Paypal lot many times. They don't want anyone else to get scammed, hence a warning.

I would suggest you to take their advice and don't use paypal. You would thank me later.

make sure you connected via https, don't use proxies that are identifiable, you will get nothing but grief, not only with Paypal.
I experienced it with a webhost, that declined a new account two days after signing up and taking money for it, and 2 domains already
in transit... Reason, possible fraudulent activity hiding behind VPN/Proxie.
(MasterCard transactions also will be declined if discovered)
And for sure watch out for Man in the Middle $hit, seriously look at your hosts file. Ditch opera look into Vivaldi or Brave.
Payoneer, and Skrill could be 2 other options maybe.

I heard about that and that's a sign right there not to ever use PayPal long-term for your business.

I wonder how paypal manages to show it in the ledger ,those billions of unclaimed money as profit ? or how they will classify it ? its extremely unprofessional and unethical company

I wonder too maybe they don't steal the money until after it's unfrozen as I know that's what they did to me, I saw they transact the amount to their account out of my account after my 180 days were up. That is a great question on how they classify it as I've been wondering about that myself.

They are so unprofessional and unethical and it's shame they're such a big company too. They're amongst the biggest scam artists in the world right now.

Check your hosts file and scan for viruses. Something could be directing you to a phishing site disguised as PayPal.

Hard to say since I doubt Paypal would ever admit the amount much they steal but I did read like 2 years ago they had like $2million kept in regards to all the fake Fraud claims they invent all the time.

Highest steal I know of the time they stole $200,000 of a business that went bankrupt can't remember the business name

Just an update

It's working fine now, didn't change anything

My guess it was on Opera's end and they fixed

Not for this as this was opera issue, for future references, ssl issues may be caused by wrong pc clock. always make sure time & date on your pc are correct. Cheers

How about don't put your money on paypal but use it as a tool to receive money. Once you have a balance on PayPal withdraw it immediately. It's so dumb not using PayPal as a tool for receiving money since majority of buyers on the internet use it. I rather risk a small chance of getting my PayPal locked than looking at my crypto balance everyday and making sure the market is not crashing.

That's true they'll never reveal it as the only way you'll hear about these fraud claims is from the people or legal offices themselves.

That will be the best option for those companies outside of the US. If you live outside of the US and using PayPal is incredibly stupid in my opinion. People really need to educate themselves about ScamPal before using it.

If you don't have a bad history with PayPal then this is a good option, people like me are backlisted from there forever so I can't use them again ever in my life anyways but that is a good strategy for someone who's never used PayPal for their business before. Just milk it until the day you get backlisted but you better have another way to make income right behind that because I would not want to make money through the biggest scammers on the net and put all fo my eggs into that one basket crippling my business and myself financially one day.

I'm still trying to even figure out with all of the ways to make money online why even waste your time with an ecom business that relies on PayPal payments? The reason why I ask this is because assuming this would be your main line of business this actually sounds incredibly dangerous in the long run the day PayPal freezes your account and essentially your business you're done unless you have covered other ways to get paid. Once you get frozen your name and business are backlisted so that will end your business with them. It's a lot smart to move onto something like Stripe or your own Merchant if you're going to run an ecom business in the long run. It's so stupid and dangerous to rely solely on PayPal income for your business.
