So I run an ebay digital items service, and someone just spent £100.

The account has 150+ feedback and the PP acc is verified, now I wonder - (as it's happened before, the guy chargedback leaving me -£200) if I call PayPal and say I'm worried about the payment can they tell me if the account is secure or contact the account owner or anything?

It'd be great to get some answers, it's a good £70 profit and I don't wanna lose it. Thanks!

I guess that's the chance you are taking with digital goods.
Calling them will not do much good - how would you phrase your question and what answer do you expect from a Rep ?
Roll the dice and take your chances - as always with paypal....

I own a company and it's just in the early days and I have received a payment for £100 and I don't want them to charge it back after I'd given them their items as it's for web design, would it be possible to check this account to see if it's hacked or anything?

It's worth a shot though, right?

No, you can't really check on anything like that. To get at least a bit of protection ship something to the buyer. 70 pounds of profit should allow for a trackable shipment - even if it's only a thank you note or something. In case of a dispute at least you got the tracking info
