Did you try to resolve this personally with the concerned buyer? If you have the facts straight on your end, you could show paypal your proofs of service and the buyer's approval for the same. You can of course WIN the dispute if you could show them all the necessary proofs to convince them!

No, you will not win this. This is a very common loophole in Paypal's system. People can literally go around purchasing services and digital items with PayPal and then file chargebacks for everything. There is nothing you can do. Even if you provide tons of evidence you will still lose the claim because you are selling intangible items and digital services/items that are NOT covered under Paypal's Seller Protection Policy. I've been fighting with them for over a decade about this as I get scammed monthly as well for big money. This is unfortunately the cost of doing business. Sorry about it but get used to it.

If am 100% false, then what's the use of Paypal's seller protection! Read it before you falsify someone's comment.

So that means I get scammed? :(
And he has been charging back more amounts than what he paid for.
If he paid $412 he is charging over $428 Unauthorized payment.

If its a physical product that can be shipped and you have your paypal address in US, then you're completely fine! If you're from a different country, you probably got to reach them out on their helpline. You still have hope.

I don't think they can chargeback more than the cost of the item. I could be wrong, but most likely what your seeing included is Paypal's chargeback fee. All merchant acquirers have fees for chargebacks: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full#chargeback-fees

Hopefully you can get this sorted. Provide all of the evidence you can, but Paypal often sides with the buyers, especially when digital products and services are involved.

I feel for you man. It sucks. There are some awful people in the world. Paypal, despite their name, is not your friend in business. A lot of people don't use them because of problems like this unfortunately. Good luck to you.

Sorry mate, probably you should hv immediately withdrawn the funds to your bank account as you receive them. Floating them on paypal sucks. Actually it was a chargeback from the buyer's card issuer on paypal and they impose along with a chargeback fee on you.
Skrill is an alternative for paypal, but recently they're drilling down hard on many accounts and closing them up since their tie with the neteller. I really loved moneybookers in the fast and their very low fee. Hope you get past this soon, and get decent buyers in future. Good luck mate.

Chargeback comes with a fee which you have to pay for.

I could take back most of the money to the bank. But my PayPal has gone NEGATIVE BALANCE now :-(
And how can my buyers pay me via moneybookers if they don't have one?

I don't trust moneybookers anymore since they're actually skrill now under neteller. Very poor support! Atleast from my personal experience I had with them. Hope this might be of some help to you: Paypal alternatives

If the claim is for un-authorized purchase then you just have to pray that someone wasn't using a hacked account (less than 10% chances)! or otherwise you can just put the chats or emails in the PayPal resolution center & you will win!

In some of the cases the chargebacks are from Credit Card companies & in those cases even PayPal is normally hesitant to give decisions in sellers favor! (This is based on my experience only)
