Paypal destroyed my business :(

Sometimes I laugh to see how everybody is complaining about PayPal.
Yet, for people in many countries (including mine), it's the only viable solution to accept payments and credit cards from virtually anywhere in the world.

Of course, everyone who has their account limited can sit hidden behind an username and computer screen, complaining that they did "nothing" and PayPal limited their account for no real reason.
However, PayPal has no reason to ban accounts for nothing... they make money from the transactions you do with an active account, not from limiting accounts...

If your account got limited, it means you did something against their TOS. Simple as that.

Do you have disputes, usually paypal don't like if there are too many of these happening per day or too often..
 
My account is business account. My company sell human hair extensions :(

OP, consider taking legal actions against them. They use their 180 days lock policy simply to earn interest on someone else's money. They may suspend your account, yes, but they cannot hold your money hostage for half a year. Don't know where you are from dude, but in my country it is totally illegal and I am more than sure that even a slight chance of getting sued would make them more 'understanding'.
 
same here! last week they limited my stealth when I received around $250.

no i used this account for around 1 year now. this time i received a $250 payment from a adnetwork. this is not the first time will avoid paypal at all costs.
 
I almost get stuck last week 2k because of them. Just don`t use them anymore, they are so stupid and their security policy doesn`t even make sense.

Use Stripe, sleep well at night.

funny, they keep encourage people using paypal for online business payment yet limit account this make no sense.

If you preferring those into money making niche , I can perhaps understand. This is not the first time I heard Paypal got limit.
When I first heard about it are from those internet marketers into Making money online selling their so call courses, niches whatever.

But it don't serve any meanings even selling products online I mean those real products which people using it daily like clothes , etc

that is true, they got deduct fee for any deposit but come withdraw is more than 200 is free if I not mistaken.
if fact I using paypal.

There is a way to get it immediately though. Just file a legal case with consumer court in your country and you would get your money next day for sure.

It depends on the country he resides in, right? I don't think all consumer courts are swift in taking action.
 
I believe that somehow OP violated their TOS they would not block him without a reason. Also, its very simple to contact them if he have all the documents and licence like he claim, they will resolve the problem. I am using paypal for many years never single problem i been selling real products, virtual services, had months with more chargebacks and months with 0. The only reason i would stop using PayPal is their high fees and new restrictions for my country like we are forced to use their currency exchange which is disaster, other than that its a great service. Also to OP what does it mean your business is destroyed by paypal, do you have any savings, what did you work, there are so many payment gateways stripe, 2checkout, just get another one to accept credit and debit cards this is most important and you are back in business again, don't worry about paypal you not lost the money forever its just blocked for now. People lose homes, their shops burn to ground and yet they still continue to work their business, so keep your head up and do your work.

No country would allow their citizens or business owners to be in pain unless there is any criminal act done by them.
What is required here is just a single notice from consumer court to Paypal and that is enough to get your money back next day.
Paypal know very well that legally they can not hold someone's money for so long.
