Hello, I am about to start dropshipping venture and my friend told me that PayPal will most likely "freeze" my funds 180 days no matter what. Is that true and if so how can I prevent that?
Thank youHave a separate email account for this venture. Preferably matching your domain name.
Open a PayPal account only for this venture using that email.
Open a bank account only for this venture and use that to connect to the PayPal account.
Move funds out of that PayPal bank account regularly.
If your orders will take more than a few days to fulfill be sure to state that upfront on the order.
Inspect and verify as many orders as you can. Look for scammers.
Call customers on the phone to verify orders and their information before processing the order.
Refund fast if you are the least bit suspicious or can't verify.
Only take orders and ship to verified PayPal addresses.
Communicate quickly with customers.
Have a customer service phone number (google voice is fine but monitor it) associate with your PayPal business account.
Don't sell stuff like power tools.
Plan for charge backs.
Call PayPal if you have questions - the reps are in Cebu, speak pretty good English and are helpful and friendly
Good luck!
This is something normal. Think as if.. They are trying to create "history" with you and see if you are able to follow their guidelines, etc.Hello, I am about to start dropshipping venture and my friend told me that PayPal will most likely "freeze" my funds 180 days no matter what.
