PayPal Alternative - It seems very good

Unfortunately , I have very bad experience with 2co. bcoz I have used them for 1 year with no dispute from any of my clients then one day 2co send me am email that they want to close my account, they sent me the remaining money to my payoneer card and closed my account. I asked for reason, they informed they have right to close any account as they want .

Same thing happened to me. I asked the reason, But they didn't explain it.

wepay is useless, may as well use paypal.
you have to submit photoverify ID and other BS.. plus their refund policy is exactly the same. you are prone to the same fraudulent chargebacks and stolen account xfers

i have used adyen, livepaymentgateway.com and nxpay with success to collect payments. i also just take Ukash and PSC vouchers, then later have somebody change them for me into bitcoin or LR

i also use cashrun to scrape transactions for fraud and promise a 100% chargeback insurance. they work with voucher vendors, digital vendors ect.

Was this the company started by that young kid, 20 years old or something? I remember reading about a younger guy using his inheritance money to start up an online payment processor but I can't seem to place the name...

Nope, I believe that was dwolla. This is a different cat ;)

I've been reading up a lot on WePay lately (mostly because of TC articles after PayPal banned that account for "misusing" the donate button; some huge PR blow up) and was planning on using them - but, they only accept US based sellers :(.

We might all live happier ever after if we supported decent PP alternatives when they came along, instead of quibbling over correctable flaws. Competition HAS arrived, and it's on us to help it out.

Okay, I vote that you pay them more to "help them out" while we wait for them to correct that flaw! :18:

I use moneybookers/skril as an alternative to paypal.... Not bad

I have a chat with them that is below:

chrisc: Hi there
chrisc: Unfortunately we can't accept payments from PayPal
chrisc: Or international payments

If some one can not accept paypal you cant say them as a good alternative to paypal. There are plenty of paypal users and you have to take payments from them. Just some one accepts some cards is not the full answer to paypal.
If you want to accept PayPal payments, then stay with PayPal. The title of this thread says "PayPal Alternative."

I was in their live chat and asked about international payments. They said they are working on it and it will be available soon.

I was reading about the same controversy. I like how they stepped in and offered money to help with the Christmas drive for the poor families.

Faces the same problem and will disappear just as quick as it appeared.

https://www.wepay.com/about/fees

Who in their right mind would use this, when the fees are worse than Paypal?
People who got kicked off PayPal.
People who want to support a company that believes in philanthropy.
People who hate PayPal.
People who value good customer service and are willing to pay extra for it.
People who like to be treated like a valued customer and not a piece of meat on a factory assembly line.
People who like companies that show they care.

There is a little neighborhood hardware store near me. It is always packed. Contractors even go there to make major purchases. Home Depot and Lowes are a mile away from this store, yet many people choose the neighborhood hardware store that is not as cheap as the chain stores. When you go in the store, the owner is at the cash register. He asks how you are, how your parents are, how your kids are, and how the family dog is coming along after his surgery. I guess all the people who go there are not in their right mind.

yeah seems cool.. They need to get some Oscommerce and Magento modules up.. or some type of codes
They said in the live chat that they are making lots of nice widgets and different things that will be available soon.

Have any one use this site!! I can see fee as a paypal acceptor is low...that is promising but how much trust-able they are handling money. It will be nice if we can learn some more from its user...
Do a Twitter search on wepay. People have good things to say.

As much as I hate Paypal, and I get the psychological jollies from bashing it, it's not going anywhere, and mostly for good reason. If a company could compete, they would have. Moneybookers does a pretty good job, and they've got the market share to prove it. Others, fly by night, and they cater to a "we hate Paypal" demographic that, like OWS, can't articulate why they're unhappy and what solutions they want.

Paypal, like it or not, has operating costs. Remember that Romanian scammer who took your money? Yeah, Paypal may have had to compensate you for it.

Like I said, I'm far from a Paypal fan, in fact sometimes I downright loathe dealing with them. However, I try and look at this analytically, and I'm trying to bring some sense to the anti-Paypal BS out there.

Who was that Romanian scammer who took your money :o

You're thinking of Dwolla.

There are alot of paypal alternatives. Way a lot moooreeee. But the thing is, nobody can't replace paypal as online payment system as in nobody can't replace google as the best search engine or as in nobody can't replace facebook as 1st social networking.
