Paypal, a platform for chargeback scammers . Any help?

Don't spend any money you get from PayPal until the 180 days have passed. It's a pain in the you know what, but it helps you to keep your account from going negative.
In addition, it's true that most credit cards also offer buyer protection so you are at their mercy too. Most buyers do not trust crypto transactions so that usually isn't an option
until your clients really trust you. There are alternatives to PayPal but a lot of them also offer buyers protection.

@AnonymousOGGG Yes i have a business paypal and i always use invoices and state my tems and conditions that after the work has intitiated or 50% of the work is done there is NO REFUND but according to PP support that serves no value and im just thrown out at the client's bank hands to make the judgement.LOL. And in my invoices it says im elligble for seller protection but what does that serve ? I doubt papal will make a fair judgment after the bank's biased verdict as that would mean them paying me out of their pockets.
 
Chargebacks could really hurt a business. Try other e-wallets, and accept direct payment with Zelle, cashapp etc.

let's look at from buyer perspective: did you deliver what was promised?

if it is a buyer who has never disputed a charge, then say goodbye to your money. but if it is a buyer with frequent disputes you will have a chance of getting your money back.
 
I want to clarify and this action can also be carried out through card payment. Since the buyer can claim the payment in his bank. For this reason, it is not enough to delete PayPal.
In your case I suggest you send proof of service delivery.
 
You should avoid accepting Credit Cards and Paypal, those services should die, the sooner the better!
Crypto is your friend.
 
Most of clients will want to pay by PayPal or cc.
So you will be stuck with accepting paypal or cc. You wanna avoid the charge back situation. One way to do is by keeping client in the loop through out your work. Another thing you wanna do is qualify the prospects.
Especially you wanna avoid thumbs up thumbs down situation with clients as webdesign a very competitive field.

I had the same problem with Paypal. A long time ago (around 2 years I think). But I sent out all contracts, all files and work I done for this client and got my money back. This has happened to me twice and got my money back both times. I had to wait like a month, but I got it back. If there is an option, just call/chat with their support, open a case about chargeback, and gather all information you got. A signed contract is the most crucial thing in this. Hope this helps. But after those 2 situations, I abounded Paypal and moved to Transferwise.

BUt how can i make a valid contract for international clients online .Sure i can make theme to sign digitally but would their digital signature be validated at all ?

I'm now a lawyer at all, but this worked for me. Let them sign digitally, you do the same. When both parties sign the contract, download it - the contract will show IPs of parties involved, time, email, etc. I used to use DigiSigner for this. And Paypal apparently thought that this is good evidence. For contracts just use a simple freelancer contract template, there are plenty of those on the internet that just dig a bit.
 
How about you create some kind of backdoor in website and next time this happens you just take control of the website....in that way you can safely use PayPal :D
 
@Castlevision This is the worst dumbest advice by far .LOL . You wont last long if you follow this mindset .First of all keeping your money on paypal wont protect you from getting chargeback scammed at all it only helps paypal take your money easily without a fight since you are kind enough to keep your money on their platform lol. And now not only you dont have the scammers money on your bank and is taken from you but you also have lost your own money paying your developers or products that has taken you to build the scammers/clients website.
At least if i lose the case to paypal i will get to keep the scammers money anyway and never use paypal again .

$3000 is not a small amount. Congrats that you were able to withdraw it before Paypal could freeze it in your paypal account. When it comes to any non-physical product (digital product or something that is not physically shipped), and payment was done through Paypal and the buyer raises a dispute, in most cases it goes in favor of the buyer. Sellers of non-physical products know this and hence avoid accepting Paypal as payment, because buyers also know this and hence there are many cases of buyers making false, fraudulent disputes. This is the reason why even legit sellers of non-physical products (digital products or something that is not physically shipped) now avoid accepting Paypal.
Now, be careful not to accept any futher payments into that Paypal account, because Paypal will freeze those amounts. I suggest you use payment methods in which there cannot be any disputes done.
 
@Raj Kesu Ive used Crypto for cryptocurrency clients but not all have or accept crypto as mainstream payment .My second option is Western Union or Moneygram .Very hard to be anything online these days.
 
I left Gaypal with -1100$ and switched to Payoneer !

Is there a way for them to forcefully charge your credit/debit card on negative balance ?Ive read thats not possible and after 180 days of no payment they send the case to debt collector companies but i dont see how they can force me to pay as a non US individual
 
try card company that fliter the red flag order so you can be safe side.
