Hi, has anybody got paid via Payoneer lately?

Bank transfer from the 5. of june is still in pending, and suddenly after many years they require new documents. Submitted 9 working days ago, still waiting. Seems from their forum that many have the same problem.

Is it working for anybody at all, or do they have problems?

It's working fine for me... You may contact support regarding these issues. They will short it out!

Hmmm. Interesting.

I read your thread and soon after it i read an article about a German fintech company called Wirecard AG. They seem to be in big trouble, they were audited and they have some 1.9 billion EUR missing. Their shares dropped by 67% on DAX yesterday. (They're in the top 30 on DAX, so no small stuff).
Something clicked in my head, i saw the name of this company somewhere before and sure enough the name of the company is printed on my Payoneer card, Wirecard AG (DE) is the parent company of Wirecard Card Solutions Ltd. (UK), which issues cards for Payoneer and they're also providing IBAN for Payoneer (which is used in withdrawals in Europe i guess). There might be other companies too, not just them though.

It might be a long shot, but it can be related. We saw payment companies ceasing operations because of events like this in the not too distant past. (FCP)

This is worth reading for people that keep money on payoneer, thanks for this, time to cash out i guess

Thanks all!

Hmm yes I read about the wirecard also. I don't have a card.
Payment is from Oranum.com - has been going smooth to my bank account for literally years. Will wait a bit and see, but already changed the next payments on Oranum to paypal. :)

And thankfully only about 100usd this time.

Not sure if connected yet. But if I had a Payoneer card from Wirecard I would try to get hold of the money.

Payoneer is a solid company, has great partners (Amazon, Airbnb and hundreds of influential sites), despite Wirecard's problems this is not a big risk for your money.

There are several other services (like Wirex, Crypto, etc) that also use Wirecard to issue credit cards, this will be a hard hit for many people, these cards will possibly be cancelled and you will have to withdraw your money to a real bank to get access.

But about the problem of OP, it does not concern the reliability of Payoneer, I believe that the help of support is enough for that.

Today I received my transfers normally, I have been a Payoneer customer for 3 years and never had any problems, but it is one of the services that should be damaged by Wirecard, possibly the EUR cards will be cancelled in the future (you can still convert the money to another currency and have access to the GBP and USD cards, I believe).

Yea, Payoneer is a reliable company for sure. I'm not using my account/card at the moment, but i have cards since 2008. Never had an issue with the company.

Probably you're right. I remember, when FCP went poof, it was because of their card issuer and the same company issued cards for Payoneer too partly. Those cards were simply disabled and Payoneer sent new ones, i got my last card this way. The balance wasn't affected or at risk at that time.

The issue is that Wirecard isn't only providing cards, but IBAN too for Payoneer. Just shooting in the dark at this point, but some withdrawals (within Europe) might got stuck because of this. OP's saying in his thread starter post, that there are others too with the same issue on the Payoneer community forum.

Let's hope that it's just a slight delay, they're just slow at reviewing the docs and OP and others will receive their money soon.

P.S. I live in Europe, i have an USD card issued by Wirecard.

Yes, mate.
Payoneer may have the cards issued by Wirecard cancelled and temporarily there will be no way to receive transfers in EUR.

The best option for them is Handelsbank which partners with Transferwise and does the same service, I hope Payoneer will look for other alternatives to Wirecard.

I can' withdrew my money. I have received the money from another payoneer account , Isn't the issue?

2 day and still waiting for the money :( hope nothing bad happend

Hello, I recently got paid by Appen but it has been pending and under review for 48hrs now and I haven't been asked for any verification as it says "you are all set for now". What could be the issue
