Hi BHW !
I am a retail business owner (products made in-house not drop shipping)

I am looking at my options to accept payments on my e-commerce website. First I wanted to go with Stripe and PayPal . However my personal PayPal got limited permanently and randomly in 2017. So I am scared to open a business PayPal as they might ban that one too.

I then looked at 2Checkout. To my understanding, I see PayPal in their accepted payment methods.
Does this mean if I use 2checkout , they’ll offer PayPal payments on my behalf ?
And I won’t need to own a PayPal account and therefore won’t matter that my personal account got banned ?

I am looking forward for someone to hopefully clarify this for me !

That is correct... you will be fine there.

2CO has a crazy to understand dashboard but once you figure it out you will be fine.

Thank you so much for clearing this out for me ! You were faster than the 2checkout Sales team haha! I contacted them on Thursday to find out but no reply from them yet.

this is amazing news ! I was scared I’d lose 20-40% potential revenue as it’s a somewhat small business without a massive reputation so people feel safer paying by PayPal.
I guess it’s time to get on with the e-commerce evolution and scale this business !

Almost all of them accept paypal. Look at BlueSnap, FastSpring, Mycommerce etc.

Amazing ! Good to know I have options out there ! As long as they don’t require me to have a good standing PayPal account myself, it’s all good , as mine is permanently limited

I'll suggest checking Paddle & FastSpring for their wide accepting payment methods options.
