Paying VA's in Crypto, global payment help

I want to pay others globablly. My first thought is to hook them up on coinbase. Then I can send them usdt or usdc and they convert into their currency.

Would you more experienced members say this is the best route for some people money globally.

I have no experience with crypto, just signed up thinking this is the move.

Not dealing with money processors, e-wallets, etc. They are all in different countries around the world.

Using crypto like USDT or USDC can work for global payments especially if your team is spread across different countries Just make sure both you and your VAs understand how to safely send receive and convert crypto to avoid mistakes or losses For first timers small test payments are a good idea before sending larger amounts.

For first-timers I’d send them a $5 test payment so they don’t freak out losing funds.

Coinbase will ask to KYC if your assistants want to convert usdc to their currency, at that point something like Wise would work much better because it can directly deposit in bank accounts and usually have a good conversion rate.
