Paxum is a joke. Stay away

1474777.PNG After Firstchoice pay shut down I went to Paxum to take care of my IM income. I uploaded every documents they needed, everything was completed on may 16th of this year and card was ordered. To today's date.. nothing. Tried to contact them, received only they BS talk about delays and such and that the card will be on it's way after it's processed, which usually takes up to 6 weeks. It's been 6 weeks since the update. 9 weeks since I paid them to get the card processed. If you value your time and money, stay away. I was stupid I didn't trust the CosmoPayment when I got their card, after maybe 2 weeks waiting.

To give them at least tiny bit of credibility, I opened a ticket today, I'll post the updates.

Too many people complain about them. Definitely not the way to go.
 
I'm waiting for my card for almost 3 months now. Doubt I will receive it
 
More than 24hours, still not reply.
edit: I'll give them benefit of the doubt (on this ticket at least), because it's weekend.
 
Thanks for the warning. I always thought they are scam lol.
 
They're not a scam company they're just slow as fuck and a ripoff. Their transfer fees are $50 just to wire your money to your account it's a joke but sadly affiliate networks choose to pay using them.

Well that makes them a scam company in my book. $50 for transfers? Are you kidding me? :O
 
Both CosmoPayment and ePayments offer cards now, they're quick with the shipping and verification process too. CosmoPayment actually sent me the card before even verifying the account. My Paxum account was already verified when FCP tanked, but i changed the address, which triggered an address verification and despite i sent the documents in mid April, it's still not verified. Lol

Yeah it's ridiculous even if you want to wire yourself a $100 they take out $50. Honestly don't know how they're still in business.

From quick exchange with someone at twitter I concluded that they are the only payment option for some niches and countries, ie someone in Brazil can't order cosmopayment card.

To add salt to the wounds... On their site https://www.paxum.com/services/transfer-money/ they claiming they can do an EFT transfer to over 50 currencies ... in reality, they can only do 3. USD, EUR and Romanian currency.

I have been using Paxum since 2011. Their service has always been awesome for me.
There was indeed some delay with the FirstChoicePay issue, but they eventually handled it pretty well and i'm sure as fast as it was possible.

I have been using their cards since 2011 and they always worked
I also used their bank wire method to withdraw money and it is actually super fast.
They send the money from the UK and i have it here in the EU within 3 days.
Much faster than any other services.

So, all in all, in 7 years, i never really had any issue with Paxum.
 
i am waiting for 3 months and its not even printing i have to wait 3 other months to print and 3 others to ship o:O

The currency is not the issue that can be changed converted by your bank automatically. The issue is with the fees.

Nowadays that's not exceptionally fast at all. With PayPal i have next day withdrawal (i think same day is not uncommon in certain countries either), with Transferwise you can get your money in hours.

Withdrawals are automated, no human touch is needed, hence there are no issues, well, at least most of the time. When FCP went tits up, that's when their troubles started, which is understandable to an extent, but months after they still can't perform as they should, that's pretty ridiculous. Does it really require 9 weeks to issue and ship a card in the 2018th of Our Lord and Saviour? Btw OP still doesn't have the card, so that 9 weeks will be more more than likely.

OP paid for the card 9 weeks ago, he still doesn't have the card and he's not the only one. Is this a good service in your opinion?

Honestly i'm not sure if they're just a bunch of amateurs, hence the delays or they just like preventing people to be able to access their funds by having a high, fixed withdrawal fee, having a withdrawal option to external credit cards, which doesn't work in many cases and throws up every kind of errors or simply by not sending the cards out.
 
Is by any chance paxum wanted 2 separate Photo ID proof with house address for account verification?

When I submitted one, they say they need another.

For international bank wire, and i have been paid by many different companies, 3 days is quite good. It's international...
Anyway it's fine with me, i can wait 3 days, it's not like my bank account is empty

About your 9 weeks for waiting for the new card, i have no idea who is OP but my guess is that they focus more on long time clients rather than new ones. I got mine in 3 weeks if i remember well, it was fast. At some point i had +$40k on my paxum account, so i'm not sure if this maybe gave me some privilege in their system, i don't know....

That being said, i understand the frustration of someone waiting for a card for 9 weeks... i totally get it

But still, when people call Paxum a "scam", since i have been using them for so long with no problem whatsoever, i just feel the need to say that it's not a scam nor a joke, it's actually a pretty good service IN MY EXPERIENCE :)

Yes when i created my account back in 2011, they were already requesting 2 forms of photo ID
I guess it's still the case
