B. Friendly, I agree with you completely. Dish diversity is very important and we all should have the right to enjoy our dishes as we please.
That being said, here is the pizza lover senior was talking about caught on camera:
gingerbuzz, pasta is for any time of day. Personally, I believe the balls are very important because as I said in my original post it is showing respect when sucked upon before swallowing. However, if you eat your pasta without balls while thinking of me I trust The Great Noodle in the Sky will understand.
I hope you will eat pasta for me and find it in your heart to put in some balls. If you are a vegetarian tofu balls might be a valid substitute.

I really am in need of pasta loving and wish I could explain in more detail but don't want to impose.
It is just that I am going through a difficult phase in my life right now and The Great Noodle is testing my love. As He knows though, my love for pasta is real and will get me through this as it has done many times before, for me and others.
In the end, only The Great Noodle in the Sky knows what is needed for me but it gets hard sometimes. Knowing there is pasta eaten on my behalf really helps me face and endure His test.
I am really overwhelmed by all the pasta love found in this thread.
May The Great Noodle in the Sky watch over you all and again: all pasta eaten will not go to waste.

I had pasta for lunch today
Its the only food i can eat 7 days a week whitout becoming tired of it.

Was planning on having Spaghetti bolognese for dinner tonight. I'll chuck some meat balls in there for you. Cheese is always a must! Isn't spaghetti bolognese without it

I have to admit sucking those balls had me wondering a bit too but it isn't filthy at all when you really think about it, it is showing respect.
The Great Noodle in the Sky provides for all as you know and there is nothing wrong with showing gratitude right?
I hope you will think of me when you eat your pasta tomorrow or even tonight, I could really use it and will be sure to eat some pasta for you too when I can.

what you guys made from one of most '' gracious '' food all over the world damn it . If you don't have an authentic italian restaurant on your area , get yourself a break and go to visit even for a day or two Italy to learn how are pasta prepared and server , well an real dish not '' english version '' damn it .

I feel touched in my special place every time I worship Him, know that every ball sucked is praising Him. That is why sucking balls in His name feels like the natural thing to do.
I have the silent hope that one day all people will suck balls in His name.
keinehabe, I have been planning a pilgrimage to Italy, it is one of the holy countries to visit before I die.
I do make my own pasta, with semolina of course.
I say I do, but as you have read I can't right now, hence this thread. All the pasta love really makes a difference though!

However low one goes, the thought of balls sucked gives me such a warm feeling inside. It makes me realize all hope is not lost as long as a single ball is still sucked in His name!
