Passive Income? still possible?

So back in the day there was
micro niche sites but now google bans them/removes you from serp/unranks you/etc basically useless
autoblogging - does this still work or same thing as above due to duplicate/identical content?
youtube video adsense - pretty messed up now when I tried it recently it seems they don't even run ads (good ones) on new channels anymore as I have 500 views with $0.00 made not even a penny, whats up with that?

So I am wondering, my fellow money makers and paper chasers, is there anything viable method left for passive income?

I am out of a job and about to perhaps end my life (just a thought, I won't do it though. I am in so much pain at my loss of $ that I am just here to ask for a final help before I end it)

I'm banking passive (almost, 3 hours work per week) with adsense and middle size niche pages with 30-40 posts.
 
Micro niche sites still effective, depends on how you do them. It is true that a big part of networks has been penalized but it depends on how you do the work.

If you know how to do it, it is not mandatory to create a micro niche site in a spam way. You can build it with solid base or 50% 50%.
It is common that Google every year scare the community, but at the end it is always the same game.

I think that all the methods still works, only you need to adapt them to the new Google behaviour. Also, in my opinion now social network paly a better role in making money online even for micro niche sites.
 
Its still possible.
Even if you struggle with google you can still rank in bing and get income

Try to get some offline income going even if it's only a part-time job. So that you're not pounding the rubble.
 
Who told you that lie about micro niche sites? Only thing that's different between now and some time ago, is the time it takes for MNS to get ranked. That's all.

Micro niche sites still work, just stop building them for Google, that is the cleanest way to avoid problems. Google is the main culprit that has been sabotaging the passive income set up of marketers for a decade, with their ever changing rules and penalties. Just build the sites for Bing and Yahoo search engines, and add to that non-SEO methods to promote the site (forum posts, video, social, links from big traffic sites like Yahoo Answers or Wikipedia etc). Result--steady traffic from both SEO and non-SEO directions, with no G involvement to muck things up. Make money, be happy. :)

Aim to rank on Googles first page, and if they wipe you off, track your rankings on Bing and Yahoo instead. Might as well get your $$$ somewhere.
I certainly see a trend of MNS still doing well. Even personally.
 
The idea of commiting suicide has left me and I am glad so many people came to my help. You saved my life
I am going to implement these ideas that you have shared into action immediately and also help the other members when I have reached a level of success where I feel I can give advice to others.
Maybe I will write about my journey, although nothing is accomplished daily in terms of results but action.

To those who have PMed me, I cannot reply till I have 15 posts.

I will keep in touch with this community and share my updates as time goes on. I will never give up and I hope I can be a source of motivation for others who are in a similar situation as me

If you kill yourself, I'll raise you from the dead with pewep and murder you myself. It's understandable you don't know my story, but if you can enjoy a solid meal whenever you please; keep living. Money comes and goes but perfect health is something you only get once.
 
The game has definitely changed to eliminate most people who seek the easy way out.

If you dedicate yourself and run a batch of different methods to get a gist of a small sample size you will definitely see results from one and then dedicate yourself to the one method you found that has value or even multiple if you can handle it.

The main difference now is that you shouldn't expect any remarkable income that will change your life until you spend at least 6 months perfecting your model, unless you choose to tap into other sites rather than make your own, but that still takes a bit of time.
 
I have an old website which I made at 2010. It isn't in English, just my local language.
It's based on wordpress, I haven't updated it (never touched it! never!)

It's made about $600 in 4 years, means $12.5/month.
This is my best passive-income website, I never spent a minute on it after establishing it.

If I had another 100 of those, I would earn $1250/month, but I don't think I get generate 100 websites like this.

This website has a specific niche, which is really small, and I had been lucky because it haven't been exposed since 2010. Making 100 small-niche-websites is a really hard work, you cannot predict which niches will be good in a couple of years from now, it's really difficult to predict.
 
Does anyone have any experience with ad fly? I was thinking I could put real legitimate downloads of my own works (no fake stuff) and link them through ad fly? Would that work well?
For example, a weight loss related niche giving free book. To download book you go through ad fly?
Evenually over 2500 webpages a day, could it give enough income as well?
I need backup besides adsense (website ads/youtube) in case for some reason they may ban me. Although that has never happened before but you never know which employee might screw you over while looking/judging your websites/videos. Or sometimes I read they hold your payments so definitely need another source of income.

Appreciate the comments on health as well. Health should definitely be first followed by money and then good relationships with other people

You'd be better off locking the ebook with a content locker IMO. 1 completed offer is worth like 1000 clicks on *******.

To answer your main question of the topic. Yes, passive income is still possible. My income is almost entirely passive, I just need to make sure that my bots are still running, that's it.

Mns still work, just be patient, nothing is overnight success - even GSA needs time right?
 
I haven't made any real money with niche sites since back in May 2008 when Google banned BANS - Build a Niche Store. I used it to create Ebay stores very quickly. The Product feed was always updating my homepage so the spiders came running. Those sites would benefit from a new site bonus, plus all the updates from the product feed, and they would make hundreds of dollars in the first few weeks. Then suddenly they all got banned. Since then - nothing.
