By passive I really mean you don't have to do it like a job. You work hard initially to build it, then maintain it, but not 8 hours a day for a 9-5 income.
For example: Apartment buildings/apartment/house/basement for rent is considered passive to me, because sure you will work hard to buy your house/apartment then work a little bit (by putting ads) to find a tenant (renter). Once you do all this work, the money is now passive but still requires maintenance. By having five apartments/houses/basements or a combination you essentially make as much money as a 9-5 job without working 8 hours a day.
Of course there are always risks in anything, even a job. You can get fired. And in my example, it is possible that no one rents your places or the tenant damages your property, doesn't give you rent, etc. But I still like this method/type of income more than a 9-5 job where you have less freedom while you are working. You have to sleep at a certain time, work at a certain time, eat at a certain time while at work, etc.
To each his own of course, different people value different things, and me personally I value freedom.
I have learned a lot of new ways to make money thanks to you members here at blackhatworld.
I make sure that the way I make money will not harm/scam others, because it will give me financial gains this way, but 100% know that it will hurt me in other ways such as health/relationships down the line.
I want to make sure that I make money in a clean way that doesn't harm anyone (users, people who use the internet), even if it is going to be a slower process.
And yes, it is possible
I can say this now because thanks to the support here by each and everyone who posted here I am free of my emotional prison. You guys gave me hope, encouragement, methods, tips, and techniques that really helped me to think of my own ways of making money.
I am trying some new things and I am seeing results!
