Passive crypto income

Quite unfortunate. Life goes on and so do investments. :)
Still plenty of new and promising projects.

They're everywhere. Gotta find the right opportunities.

For me, investing in cryptocurrencies is just a matter of luck. Prove me the opposite :)

We can't prove anything. You have to learn and adjust your risk tolerance to the potential gain. You either are interested in this field or you are not. Same goes for anything else in the world: biotech, AI, rockets, robotics, etc

Eth is more reliable now in terms on long term investment. As with btc, I believe we are almost at the ceiling.

Firstly, If I read the graph correctly, bitcoin have peaked.
Second, there is no second to bitcoin.
This is the problem I see with the crypto.

Crypto.com creditcard you can stake 10% APY + chargeback

What is the minimum staking required for the creditcard?
you can get the light blue credit card with I think 1% APY. I don't think you need staking for that, but please read it yourself, Im not sure either. There are many different cards. Staking + Chargeback is always in "CRO".

Im planning to order the red card btw.

Same, the first time I heard about Bitcoin they were worth next to nothing. Unfortunately, I wasn't interested, so I didn't do any research and completely forgot about it. Guess when I finally bought some? This year near ATH.
Nothing to be ashamed of. If you did any decent research you still wouldn't buy it purely based on the fundamentals, because the underlying technology is not solving anything that wasn't already solved. It pretends hard that it does and ignores all the downsides and adoption obstacles that already are imposed on it and will continue to get harsher to the point of turning crypto into something that is a complete opposite of what its original idea was. Crypto was not supposed to solve tech issues, it was supposed to reduce government power over currency and in hindsight, that was a naïve and unrealistic goal to have. There will never be a power-vacuum in human society. Someone will always run things. Old masters fall and are replaced by new. They'll find a way to adjust crypto to keep its brand and keep controlling people with it and if they can't, they'll just use violence to stop it.

It is all investment hype train, nothing else. By that I mean, don't be ashamed that you didn't see the value of crypto, because it has no inherent value and the value it pretends that it has is unenforceable and will not come to fruition. No state-issued global currency will allow a truly decentralized currency to threaten its dominion unless state controls the supply of said crypto currency, which is the same thing we already have with a new name.

But you can be mad for not seeing that other investors will jump on it and pump it. That was indeed a big missed opportunity, but for different reasons. You missed a business opportunity that was purely based on irrational and speculative supply and demand by the masses and not on any real value. One could say that you misread the psychology of the buyers. At the end you still lost money and that sucks, but collectively we lost something much more important. We lost the fight for more freedom and crpyto projects just became a casino for the gen z.

Hindsight being 20/20 here. I remember seeing bitcoin for sale ~8 years ago for like $3 and being like "Yeah, right. Totally worthless". Dropped the ball there entirely.
Same here. I refused to accept payment in Bitcoin from clients.

I think a big part of it is luck, but also you have to do some research to increase the chance on luck.
