When he was initially banned, he sent a ticket into support saying he would make things right if we allowed him back on.
Do you have any proof of that? A failed charge or even an attempt would still show up in most banks' and online banking systems' history/activity... could you share a screenshot of that attempt, please? Thanks!
It's been going on for months now, people are getting charged for their old subscriptions. It's nothing new. My bank app doesn't let me take a screenshot. I was just letting people know, he's out of business but still didn't turn off the subscriptions.
I'm quite convinced this has been done systematically, at scale, and for a lengthy period of time, which definitely makes it a criminal offense. I don't know about Dutch legislation specifically (he is from the Netherlands), but since most laws in the EU are harmonized, and me being from another EU country, I believe it's fair to say that this level of fraud would carry a prison sentence (if prosecuted and proven guilty, of course). He would also be banned from running a business for X number of years.
This will almost certainly be it. By being less than active on BHW for quite some time, he was probably unaware of the sheer number of complaints his service had received across numerous threads for months now. Only when he engaged with this thread (to a point) did he realise what a hole he was in.
Same experience here. I had to cancel it using PayPal because it kept charging me even though I stopped subscription on his website.
Having a "lifetime" subscription in any product's pricing page should be a huge red flag tbh. Not sure why people are jumping ont it.

I'd suggest this isn't the appropriate place for discussing alternative services. We'd prefer it if this thread was kept to issues surrounding Deleted member 752298. But we'd be absolutely fine with your or anyone else starting a standalone thread about alternatives to his service.
This, all of a sudden, it was free for no reason.
