A few months ago I had the same results as you. No change in the system, apparently. I still don't get it, it doesn't do ANYTHING, yet it's still there as a recommended part of the page building process..

HOLY CRAP, I decided to not give up. I was going to outsmart FB. I added 4300 emails to a new yahoo account, I did the contact invite for my page, "everyone is associated with your page" something like that. Crap, no way that is true. So, I tried one more time to do a straight import a list of 4300, I added mine to the top, it imported as it has done 10 times before. All 4300 are now invited. I went and checked my email not even a minute later, there it was.

The damn thing works. I just sent 4300 HIGHLY targeted emails.

A little more testing after not getting an invite on an account that is a member of FB.

3 accounts, 2 are members of FB, both Hotmail, one is not, my domain.

No invites received.

OK, since the one I did receive was the top email, maybe that has something to do with it, move them around, put an hotmail address that is a member on top, surely I will get an invite.

No invites received for all three.

Ok, test three, bring back the hotmail non member, put it third on the list, last time it was first, 1 hotmail member, 1 my domain, different one that I know is not block, the other was not either, but double checking, non member. lets see what happens.

My domain non member, no invite
Hotmail non member, invite. So, it has now got two invites. I checked it first, within a minute.

hey guys inviting people thru csv contact still work idk know about you, but this work on me also only 500 are sent even if you upload 1k emails then only 50 are REALLY sent then the other amount will be sent after 24 hours until it reach your 500 invites (i guess) just this is what happening on me, i noticed it when im trying to invite thru csv contacts only 500 sent invite from 1k+ emails i have then when i check after 24 hours 40-50 accepted nothing more after 1 day again 50+ are accepted and so on...

I did more tests on non member and member hotmail accounts, 10 in total, only one went through, for a non member, though some non members did not get an invite. Yahoo non member account, nothing.
