Page invites by Email

Has anyone had any success at all doing this? I have tried it a few times and to me it does not work. These emails will not be in their spam folder like 99% of emails, so they will be reading them. If you send 5,000 invites, should get at least 50 fans from it. Mine are really targeted. I just tried this again and I will report back how the first batch goes.

Looking to swap targeted email lists. I have women wanting to eat out for free. Looking for sports minded males for Playoff gear.

I dont think FB has it working right, just my opinion, that is why I am asking if anyone else has had any success at all with getting fans from email fan invites. If it does work, I could do well with this method because of what I am doing.

I Think sending email invites by importing .csv file contains email contact doesn't work anymore,

if it works. invites only sent to someone who hasn't joined facebook yet

It says it sends it to both, members and non-members. Non-members it gives them all kinds of crap to read, members it just gives them the normal popup likes box you see when you hover the link of something liked in a newfeed.

My list are all FB members.

I had success with this. Uploaded 20k emails (very targeted), got 5k fans in about 2 weeks. It's not much for you maybe, but in a targeted niche, 5K is a lot.

I have 4 Million facebook emails.. And i have some suggestions for this.

Good to hear it is working by those that have been doing it for a while.

I was just assuming it goes to their inbox. Since it is coming from FB, it should not be going into the Spam folder.

I have had marginal increase in traffic with the first 5k. My guess is that they dont just send 5k out all at once. I have been doing some Diggs and seen some extra traffic from it also.

i tried to upload some fb emails and i get the message that all contacts are already related to my page??

I dont know what to tell you. Was it formatted correctly? It showed all 4999 emails, I checked them, and I did not see anything strange like what you are saying, but maybe I missed it.

May try another tonight.

i tried with a new list and it worked

im going to create a new page and send some emails out see what will happen

One of my accounts was one of the 5000 I sent when I started this thread, just checked, no email invite.

yea...this method of bulk inviting pretty much died in early 2010
i would just send regular emails linking to a cpa offer or a facebook app or page

never got my one stinking email test, so it is a fail. Anyone else gotten an email through this route?
