Depending on the motherboard you have that feature is accessible in your system bios. Doesn't matter what OS you are using.
On a second note, I wouldn't recommend you overclock an amd. I used to have 3k series processor and it died due to overheating problems.
Get an intel...anything in the 'e' series range...and you wouldn't be disappointed by its performance.
You can take advice here from people that may not know wtf they are talking about OR you can google "overclocking forums" and find a community that specializes in what your wanting to do. Me I go with option 2 but that's just me.
