Hello everyone,

I’m working on building backlinks for a legitimate business in the financial industry that offers genuine services. I have a few questions about best practices when it comes to using emails for outreach, and I would appreciate your insights.

1. Using Domain Email for Outreach:

  • Should I use an email from the same domain I want to link to?
  • If the response rate is low or if the emails are marked as spam, will it impact the domain's reputation?
2. Using Google Workspace for Outreach:

  • Do you recommend using Gmail for this purpose? Specifically, I am referring to domains attached to Google Workspace, not just @gmail.com addresses.
3. General Best Practices:

  • What are the best practices for using emails in backlink outreach?
  • Are there any specific strategies or tips to ensure a higher response rate and avoid being marked as spam?
Any advice or experiences you can share would be incredibly helpful.

If your emails are getting marked as spam or have low engagement, it can definitely hit your domain’s reputation. Regarding Google Workspace, it’s a solid choice. Having a domain-specific email through Workspace looks professional and is less likely to be flagged as spam.

I was thinking to use a branded domain through Google Workspace although not connected to the actual domain I want to build links to.

Does it sound like a good idea?

Sending out personalized emails from your branded domain enhances credibility and trustworthiness. Your email signature should include your business address, contact information, and a link to your website for authenticity. The introductory email should be concise and to the point.

1. Using Domain Email: Yes, use a professional email from your domain for credibility. Ensure proper email warm-up and DKIM/SPF records to avoid spam issues. Low response rates won’t harm domain reputation if done correctly.

2. Google Workspace: Yes, Google Workspace is recommended for outreach as it offers professionalism and better email deliverability.

3. Best Practices: Personalize emails, keep them concise, and target relevant sites. Avoid spammy language, follow up politely, and limit daily outreach to prevent being flagged as spam. Use tools like Hunter.io or Mailshake to streamline outreach.
