Hey all, longtime reader, first time poster!

Running an outreach push of around 1k emails a week to 4k recipients and wanted to get some perspectives…

I want to know what we actually need to be doing at this scale as don’t think this is that big compared to what other people here are doing…
• Not sure if company email is cooked so thinking to start this on a fresh domain, or would a sub-domain be fine?
• At this scale do we have to warm-up the inboxes for a month like people say or is that overkill?
• Any good warmup inbox programmes?
• Is Gmass good for something like this or are there better alternatives?

Thanks!

At that volume i will personally avoid risking the main company domain and use a separate domain or subdomain dedicated to outreach and warming up is usually worth the effort even if you don't do it for a full month because deliverability issues can be a pain to fix later. As for tools GMass can work but I'd focus more on inbox health and response rates than the sending platform itself. A good setup usually matters more than the software.

yeah @sano11 definitely do not use your main domain or even a subdomain of it. if you burn a subdomain it can still affect the root domain reputation. just spend the ten bucks and buy a couple lookalike domains like getcompany.com or companyapp.com.

at 1k a week you need to split that volume anyway. if you send 1k from one inbox you will get cooked fast. better to get maybe 3 domains, 2 inboxes each, and send like 30 a day per inbox.

gmass is alright for basic stuff but for managing multiple domains instantly or smartlead are way better because they handle the rotation automatically. honestly the old school automated warmup pools are mostly dead now since google and microsoft cracked down on them... better to just start sending to some safe contacts first and scale up super slowly over two weeks.
