Outranking Authority Websites

I have found a couple of keywords with over 30k uniques per month.
The top ranking results are inner pages of big e-commerce websites with huge authority (amazon, walmart)
These inner pages however have weak link profile with <2 PR, <25 PA, <4 inbound external links

So far I have managed to outrank keywords vs smaller websites but never vs authority.
Please advice if it is worth trying to outrank them with a budget of ~$800 within 2-3 months using Blog Network (mostly) services.

I would like advice from people who have done it and succeeded (or failed) and no speculations or baseless claims.

If I receive positive advice, I'll make a journey thread and see if I can succeed.

I searched the forum and there are people who say it's doable and others who say it's not worth it.
Would love some advice from someone with experience on this matter.

I do that fairly often, geo89; I use a fair amount of content on my site for starters, interlink the associated page on the site and backlink it using a combination of parasite/authority pages, some generic Web 2.0s with varying amount of content on them and the occasional PBN link if needed. I also add in a variety of other links so that I have a balanced portfilio.

There is not really a formula, as there is not a formula set in stone for any SEO, but I've been doing that for some time now and I generally have a decent level of success there. In fact, I have a journey thread here where we are targeting eBay and outranking them for almost all the targeted KWs.
 
I usually stay away from these, unless you're doing churn n burn. It's doable but not very predictable. I spent $200 on a parasite and it went to page 1 for 2 weeks. The next step should've been to try again with other parasites and see which ones last longer, but I wasn't prepared to part with the cash. Other times I dropped $150-$200 on parasites with zero movement in serps. You need to really know what you're doing or else you'll lose money really fast.

I'm now focusing on PPC coz that's where the money's at. If I need any SEO done I'll just outsource to the likes of Tommy who know their stuff when it comes to SEO.

That's interesting, you're asking for free advice while imposing conditions.

BTB's style of parasite linking doesn't involve blasting the shit out of it...that may be the difference. The get some links but deeper and more varied than the average blackhatter uses. At least that's what I gathered from using both LinkLure and his other joint venture service that offers parasites (I forget the name of it and am too tired to look it up).

I'm not comparing Tommy's SEO service to BTB's Seo service. I haven't tried BTB's but looking at the reviews I might dive in someday. I'm talking about me trying to spam up authority site's asses and not getting consistent returns. Maybe you could make it work. Personally, I've moved on

Just qurious, have you tried sape links or just spam?

This is because it depends on who you are and how powerful your site is. Do you have a well designed site that doesn't bounce visitors? Is it engaging? Does it have hundreds of useful pages with unique content? Do you have the budget to buy $1,500 links on authority sites? Can you constantly add quality content to your site?

You need a great site, authority of your own, quality links, and constant good content and then... time.

If you said yes to pretty much all of these then you have a good shot. If you just said no a bunch of times then you'd likely be wasting money trying to spam rank over an authority site and would be better advised to find a better niche/keyword that isn't blocked by large authority sites.
 
Its possible but not very easy. If you can, get started with an aged domain with a good backlink profile
