I have a stupid question about ORM. Let's say there's a web page in the top 10 results that i want to move to the 2nd page.
What's the best way to do this?
1) build some new pages (profiles, web20, websites, etc) and rank them higher ?
2) blast the target page with viagra/sex links - if that still works, not sure about it...
3) any other way to move the page down without creating other pages?

It's not a stupid question, but it's a much bigger question than you realize.

1. Yes
2. No
3. Yes

There are literally hundreds of different activities that you can do in an effort to suppress a negative. If you've never done it before it will be a lot of testing and tracking to see what is working and what is not working. If you only have 1 page you're trying to suppress it will be difficult to know which of your work is having an effect.

A former client of mine decided that it was taking too long for a website dedicated to slamming them to drop down the rankings. He hired some sloppy Russian to perform negative SEO on the site. Instead of the site being sandboxed, it went from #5 to #1.

Also, intelligent webmasters are aware when they are being attacked with spam and generally quickly disavow any malicious backlinks through the Google Disavowal Tool (https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/disavow-links-main?pli=1).

I know negative seo won't work anymore (stopped working 2 years ago). I also, know that building new page and outranking the negative target is the way to go. But what other methods are there?

Negative seo can be give a good boost to authority sites so don't try the second option, first option works well in all cases of orm,It ll work in your too but it require lots of effrots and money so its much better that you hire someone t do so.

ORM is a hard process but it's possible. Use You tube videos... Good Luck

Youtube videos are still new pages - any other orm methods to drop a negative page?

I'm always testing YT videos' effectiveness. They do rank on page 1 unless the subject already has some YT videos beforehand (positive or negative). Then it's nearly impossible. You can create an infinite number of videos and they only seem to appear only when the video tab is chosen. I guess one subject has a limited allowance.

It sounds like your client doesn't want any new content created. In that case I would do an alter ego. If the client won't allow new content and won't approve an alter ego, you probably need to have a talk with the client.

Unreasonable clients aren't good clients. There needs to be respect for what you do and the fact that you're the expert. Does your client see that you're the expert?

We are here to answer your stupid question. :pWeb 2.0 is quite better tool as compare to other and they you mates are only depending on YouTube, dude! you can also use other alternatives like vimeo etc.
