Hello all, I've been following the ORM posts for a long time now and have been creating a lead list of businesses in the area that look like they could be easily helped. I have written letters using 7878's method, and have a little under 20 of them currently done. I've also been working on a rough business plan, that way eventually I can open an office, maintain more clients, and hire employees. I got the opportunity with my university to pitch my business idea for 3-5 minutes, with a time for questions, and if they like my pitch I'll get (X,000) in start-up money. Nothing huge, but more than what I have to currently invest. So I wanted to reach out to my fellow BHW members and ask what I should be sure to include, what questions they might ask, and what I would definitely need to invest in to make sure everything goes smoothly. I haven't met with any clients yet and am still figuring a lot of stuff out so anything will help, as well as I'm assuming they'll want to hear or ask what I plan to spend the money on during my pitch so I still need to figure that out as well. The pitch is also in only a few days so I have to plan kind of quickly

Maybe I should've been more specific, it's a start-up program so the program is designed for early stages, I'm probably farther along than most, but after this pitch if I get accepted, the program itself is a 12 week intensive start-up, so a lot of the financial decisions would be made during that 12 week period, I have more than enough at this point for the 10-15 minutes that I'll be talking about, I just want to know what will be important to include, and what will be okay to exclude because of time restrictions

If I would have made a business plan when I started in ORM, it would be totally useless by now. ORM is very fluid. What works today will not work tomorrow. Your business plan would need to be vague enough to incorporate a lot of changes.

You have to work hard and harder in ORM and you must have to be efficient and consistent in its working. You have to be patient and comfortable with your job as a hobby.

Hello,

In present time, You must have enough knowledge for it.. You have to be stable in its working.. More and more efforts and focus on its working is required..

The gent needs a business plan to at least trick them into knowing he knows what he's talking about. There's a few great companies that offer interactive templates and examples to create this sort of thing. PM Me.. I'm also looking for an ORM partner to work with something I'm starting :)
