This is with an eye on the Creativity Program Beta. There seems to be 3 main methods, using a combination of sim free, proxy or vpn, and sim method. I'll put in my 2 cents for the sim method. Don't use a proxy or VPN, never. If you don't have an older iPhone for a burner, pick up a used iPhone 8 or SE 2020. You'll be able to have 8 TikTok accounts on the one phone. Factory reset. Don't use Android. More problematic to get into the UK Play Store and seem to leak more info than iPhones. (This coming from a longtime Android user who never thought I'd touch an Apple product again.) I'd sign up for another free email service other than gmail, may not be necessary, but out of caution. During the factory reset, skip any iCloud set up and turn off location services. With your factory reset iPhone, set the location to the UK. Turn off your phone, stick in the UK sim card (never activate) and restart. Keep bluetooth off always. Now go set up a new iCloud/Apple ID for the UK. Go through the process of signing up with email. You can use any residential UK address at random. If/when you're asked to confirm through sms, your phone number, just use your local number. Crazy, but it works. Now if you get an error, search for the Find My iPhone site, and you can go through setting up your iCloud id that way and it will work. Now you have a UK based iPhone. Go into the Apple store, UK version, and download TikTok. On TikTok, you'll know it's working if during sign up they show the UK country code, +44. But just sign up using your email address. And never give a phone number. For any future TT accounts on this phone, use a different email address for each one. Always use your home wifi, never use VPN or proxy.
I have no idea how or why this works, but I'm getting views, nothing stellar, but views where I was stuck at zero before when I was trying VPN or android. Hope it goes well. And if you have any interesting tips in this regard in the future, please report back here. This has been a massively frustrating process and any information for overcoming any future obstacles would be helpful. Worst case scenario, you can factory reset again and try a better proxy. And it's my understanding after a factory reset, you can continue to use the same sim card, but not confirmed personally.
