ChatGPT Atlas isn't just a browser, it's an attempt to reinvent the very way we use the internet.
  • The assistant is built right into the interface: it can summarize pages, help with texts, and instantly find information.
  • The screen is divided into two zones: the open website is on the left, and ChatGPT is ready for a conversation on the right.
  • The system learns your habits and adapts to your work style.
  • Your browsing history, downloads, and searches are saved to speed up navigation.
  • In Agent Mode, AI takes care of routine tasks: booking hotels, writing emails, editing documents and spreadsheets. The possibilities are virtually limitless.
  • The agent works in parallel with your browsing: you can delegate a task and continue using the browser. Moreover, you can open several such "agent tabs" at once.
  • Support for all Chrome extensions.
Already available on macOS , coming soon to Windows, iOS, and Android.

just trying it out now. i get what boriss is saying, but at the same time i sense that this is a natural progression and it is not like we aren't already being intruded on in terms of our data and usage from other browsers and platforms, this is just another player in the game. also, they do have the option to turn off providing data to improve the experience, which is similar to other browsers

so far there are a few attempts of these kinds of browsers but this may be a likely candidate for achieving some market dominance if thye do it right
 
That is like installing Spyware on your PC.I don't want AI that I don't control running on my local pc.
 
hahah supprt for all chrome exensions? So its a chome repo! lol its STILL gentlemens handshakes all around with these bloody tech companies! Everyone but apple, and firefox, are chrome derivatives i think!! lol

I'll be using it though. happy to split my operation of just talking to chatgpt out of my edge browser, and use something jsut for chatgpt. I would find that better. I enjoy browser isolations.

Yes I think it is time to say: "Bye bye privacy". Other than that problem Atlas's features are pretty cool. Maybe you could try it out using a VPN so your data is not leaked.
 
I'll definitely stay away from a company that is going to crash in the next couple of years.
 
Just another clone of Google Chrome with a built-in ChatGPT console?
