Good day everyone!
I'm trying to get the Facebook App (on Android devices) to open my website links in Chrome or the user's preferred browser.
My goal is to acquire more push notification subscriptions for my website and, in the long run, increase direct traffic from the notifications.
I'm already using Facebook ads to drive traffic to my website. However, my push notification subscriber list is taking forever to grow.
All the hits from Facebook to my website are apparently from the Facebook in-app browser. Note that the Facebook app does not seem to support push notifications.
So far, I have tried Firebase Dynamic Links to create deep links, but the links only work in Facebook Messenger -- not on the News Feed, etc.
Does anyone have a clue and be kind enough to share a way around this (if it's even possible)?
What are your thoughts on this?
Thank you.
