OP or experienced BHW help please.. RE posting in services

Hi, I have tried to post in services.
I am trying to post to advertise my services for something that I am scared to even mention for fear of a ban, (unless its in the paid for services area via $20 donation and mod approval)
I thought I had to wait till I got 100 posts under my belt.
Then I read that it was just a 10 or more rep, (or something like that).

Anyways, I got to 100 posts, made a post in services, read the directions, PMed about 2 mods, waited a few days, PMed a few more..
Nada..
Nothing...
Zilch....


So, what I am I doing wrong?
Should I pay the $97 membership fee?
Or maybe what I am offering as a service has somehow not cool with them. PM me asking me what it is, I do not want to offend the mods by saying it here.

Waited a few days? It could take a few weeks... you really only need to PM one mod and let them get back to you. Those guys have a full plate.

If you're not getting any answer after a good wait, it means the mods think your service is not in the best interest of the forum.

@JB - surely the mods would then respond with a negative, rather than keep the poor kid hanging?
@BTB - I really don't know where you get your patience (and everpresent politeness)

i think that the mods are very busy, and it is holiday times for some many of them now.
so wait for 2 or 3 weeks or so

I've made a post in the services section about 1 and a half months and still havent got a reply from 3 of the mods I PMed. They are just probably really busy, or dont want to add new services yet.

Dang, a month and a half??? I will be dead by then.
That sucks, they sure can ban people real fast.
Is there some way to donate to help speed things up?

Its the way that the forum makes money, right?? It does not make sense that it would take so long.

One would hope the mods don't take bribes....

It is holidays. You won't get a reply for a while I would think. Especially not over xmas/new year period.

IMO if your service (And livelyhood) relies on a thread here, I would be worried.

It's not about YOU making money, it's about the quality service you provide to the COSTUMERS. Be patient, it takes a week sometimes, sometimes a day or two, it's holidays, X-Mas and New year, you have to be patient, mods/admins are not robots to work 24/7.
