Yes, that's a good idea...few things look less authentic than repeatedly retrying actions, like every few seconds or even a minute or two for hours on end on an account that is obviously throwing errors or not responding but still logged in. Like can you imagine even an IG-obsessed teen really doing that, hour after hour, with no valid response and/or error messages from IG?
This shows my age but activity like that must look to Instagram like the opening to the 1970s comedy TV show "Second City TV" played over and over again:
Or maybe that's what it looks like right now at the computer centers that are running Instagram itself, I don't know.

Yes I can. It would be a problem to know if you are dealing with a bot or a teen.

Facebook owns both of these, therefore the statement above is valid for Instagram and Whatsapp as well.
