Hi,

A month ago a purchased something online from a chinese shop. I was waiting for the product more than 25 days, and then I called my bank for a reverse transaction to get my funds back, and they told me to hold on for a few days and then they'll call me again. But the day after that, my package arrived and all clear, but my bank is still calling me to ask me if they should reverse the transaction.

Could I have any legal issues if I tell my bank that I haven't received my package and that i want my funds back, so they finish the reverse transaction ?
(although i have my signature in the post office that i have received the package)

Anyone with similar experience ? what did you do ?

If you signed for it you can't really reverse the transaction as far as I'm aware.

Well I think I can, but the thing is.. Will I have legal issues if I do ?

you just ask stupid question .. if you are decent person , you should ask bank stop refund it .

Why would you want to reverse the transaction if you got the package?

Bro, I'm on a black hat forum... If I wanted to see this type of questions I would have asked the bank, not you.

You're on a black hat SEO forum.

What is sounds like you are doing is trying to scam someone as you know you'll get away with it... which is not black hat.

Most people on this forum actually run perfectly legitimate businesses, but come here because of the fact BHW is full of intelligent people who think outside the box.

Okay, thank you for your consideration.

I would like to get back to the first question here.
I really don't need someone preaching me.

To answer your question: no, it's unlike you'll get in trouble. Banks are there to protect you. The fact you've signed for it doesn't really matter as you could argue the item is not as described.

The potential issues here are really moral and ethical more than anything else...

Yeah I doubt you would get into trouble. It's all about the consumer these days. Dude my sister gets all kind of free crap everywhere, the movies, restaurants, hotels. It's freaking embarassing but all she does is complain about ridiculous things, and people put up with her and give her what she wants. She even does it on the phone with customer service. It's crazy. So the thing is you have to be brazen you can't act like you got something to hide. Remember you should be upset you got ripped off!

Go to the bank and DEMAND they give you your money back you got scammed from China your just an american trying to make some money to feed your kids.

Thank you, for your answer. I contacted my bank and they will process it.

I bought nike shoes online and the shop claimed that they were original.
And I paid 130$ for them. But when they arrived, it turned out that they are decent quality but not original nike shoes.
Now i want to get the money back but keep the shoes.

Why didn't you say that originally, lol.

The way you described it sounded as if you got what you ordered and still wanted to process a chargeback.

lol, I didn't think it was necessary. My apologies for that.

That changes the entire picture, Dude.

You got ripped off; you're not ripping off the other guy.

HUGE difference if they sold you knockoffs and you were paying for originals.

HUGE!

Sorry for the misunderstanding. First I wanted to send back the shoes and they refund me. But I'm frustrated from the whole 2-3 weeks long process so i decided to keep the shoes and get my money back.
