You can be a virtual assistant or something like that. But it's usually not a fixed wage, you get paid for individual jobs.

Keep an eye out in the hire a freelancer section and someone may have a position that fits your skill set. If something shows up talk to the person offering the job and maybe you'll both benefit.

Yes, there are plenty of legitimate companies offering work at home jobs.
Just be cautious of scams and frauds though.
