Hi everyone,

I've recently tried running a Facebook Live stream to promote an online casino, but unfortunately, the results were disappointing. Despite having no issues with the number of viewers, livestream setup, or the host's performance which I personally found more engaging than many similar streams from competing casinos the campaign did not deliver the expected outcomes in terms of registrations and deposits.

I'm reaching out to ask if anyone here, especially those with experience in Facebook Live promotions in the Southeast Asia region, could share insights or advice on what might be going wrong, and what strategies have worked for you when promoting online casinos.

Are you optimizing the placement you run and most importantly the live content you engage with?

You should wrap the white link into your website link, reducing the restriction when meta checking also helps you avoid certain risks.

High views but no conversions are often due to insufficient nurturing of the funnel or the live script not creating a clear motivation for action. Viewers may stay because the content is engaging, but if there are no motivating signals such as trust, real-world evidence of effectiveness or limited offers, they will not register or deposit. In addition, if the viewer file is not warmed up in advance, even good content will be difficult to convert immediately. Review the entire user journey, from pre-live to post-live, to optimize the way to lead and stimulate action.

High viewership but low registrations and deposits is a common. If your campaign did not use proper targeting you may have viewers, unlikely to convert

No, because im running with default setting from boost live video itself. My agency said another people use the same setting as i am. Because im rent the BM i feared to attach my own pixels.

Yes, we do cloaking into our landing page.

excuse me, but what is "the viewer file is not warmed up in advance" care to explain it to me? In the beginning we already trying different strategy such as hard selling promoting my online casino, give freechips and all the stuff. But all of that have they own downside. For example if im easily giving the freechips i will get better engagement with the viewer and it look much fun because the interaction, but unfortunately by doing so we inviting freechip hunters that just creating clone of accounts in our site and not depositing they just waiting got freechips.

I saw there is one casino that they just put like 70% focus on gameplay with "lifelike" expression like they will be happy and do exaggerate move/dance and 30$ they interacted with audience in the comments, but they didnt give freechips to the audience and that methods is work for them somehow also i saw their casino growth too. We try to replicate them but no result.

Try replacing the account and pixel.

Yes, already change the Pages and BM account couple of times, but the result still the same. Im still not yet trying pixel because i rent the BM.

Honestly — live performance alone doesn’t always convert unless it’s part of a structured funnel.
Some factors that often affect results:
+ Lack of pre-qualified traffic (boosted reach ≠ warm leads)
+ Delay between Live > landing page > deposit steps
+ Ad account or page not seasoned enough in this vertical

Performance can vary from day to day, how long have you been maintaining this?
been running this livestream for 2 weeks and each day we doing 3 hours livestream session.

You’ve got great engagement on the stream itself, so the leak is happening somewhere between interest and action on your registration funnel. In Southeast Asia, trust is everything—viewers need to feel confident they’re dealing with a legit operator before they’ll hand over their details or deposit cash.

First, make sure your live stream isn’t just entertaining but also includes a rock-solid, mobile-friendly landing page link in the first few minutes. That page should emphasize your local license (even if it’s offshore), show real user testimonials or winnings screenshots, and offer a low-risk incentive—like a small free spin or matched deposit bonus with clear wagering terms.

During the broadcast, use a chat-bot to answer “how do I sign up?” questions in real time and drop the exact URL (or a short custom code) directly into the comments. Follow up immediately afterward with a reminder video or story post that walks a new visitor step-by-step through the sign-up process, so nobody gets lost on the page.

Finally, layer in a quick retargeting audience: anyone who clicked your live-stream link but didn’t register should see a 24-hour “last chance” offer in their feed. In my experience, combining the trust-building on-air elements, a streamlined mobile funnel, and smart remarketing will turn those viewers into real sign-ups and deposits. Good luck!

I think you need to check your content and campaign setup, try it with 2 or more accounts to see if it really works. We can't say it's not working with just one account and a small budget.

You have views but no conversions. Maybe your content is not engaging enough and cannot cause action in your audience. Focus on creating more engaging content.

I think it's necessary to update your content and calls to action to make your audience more specific and effective.

Maybe your content is not engaging enough yet.

High views but no conversions are often due to targeting the wrong audience, lacking a clear call to action, or not creating a sense of urgency. Many have improved their effectiveness by offering rewards for watching live, breaking up content into multiple sessions throughout the day, using chatbots to close deals outside of Facebook, and creating a sense of trust with proof of winnings or real people commenting.

This type of advertising is scanned a lot, so advertising will be very difficult. You can try live with natural photos after 10-15 minutes before starting to use your own images.

High views without conversions often point to a gap in the funnel or a lack of clear motivation for action, especially in Southeast Asia, where viewers need to feel confident before taking the next step. It's essential to not just have engaging content, but also a mobile-friendly, clear call-to-action with trust signals like local licenses, user testimonials, and low-risk incentives.
