Harsh lesson to learn. But your reinvestment principle was sound, but perhaps lacking a safety net.
This sort of thing happens all the time, ultimately the fact they're owed money isn't your problem. But something I learned years ago is never burn your bridges, remain professional no matter how pissed off you are.
Going to competitors, or any other retribution-like behaviour is not a good long-term plan.

I think you should keep pressing them to pay up without letting up until they do. Investing 56K without having a contract that would create on obligation for your business partner to hold up their end of the deal might actually have been your biggest mistake in this case, even bigger than investing too much. If you had invested 20K without a way to make sure you get what you are owed, it would still have been a big enough problem.
I hope this doesn't end up being a really expensive lesson for you and you eventually get paid for the work you've done.

Yea i do have a contract with them (thats how i always work). The problem is that i cant go to court because i dont have money to even pay a lawyer's consultint fee lol.
So im basically throwing the house throw the window to get as much money as i can to see how i can solve this

Lawyers will give you a free consultation for a few minutes. Explain you case and if they think they can win it, they'll take a cut of what they win for you.
You can always print up a legal looking letter with some law office letterhead and try to scare them into it.

They don't need to know that, so you should threaten them anyway. Tell them you understand that they have a problem, but you just cannot leave 75K on the table like that, so you give them a grace period of let's say 3 months to come up with your money, but if they don't comply, you are going to get your money the hard way + interest + opportunity cost + fat lawyer fees. Tell them you would hate it if things got to that, but that you would have to protect your interests and that you are hoping that they would cooperate like the professionals you still view them as and that there will be no courts involved in the end.
And if they don't pay up, the grace period would be enough for you to get the resources to sue them and then sue them for everything you can.
Btw, do you have a copy of the leads you generated for them?

That kind of lawyer that will take this on a contingency will be pretty close to hard to find as that is very uncommon for contract law.
This really makes a lot of sense if you are still on some level of speaking terms with them. You may be able to get at least some of your revenue in the process and maintaining an open discourse is usually very helpful when you are out that kind of cash.

You can always get back on speaking terms since they are in breach of contract and it's in their interest to try and avoid a lawsuit. Even if you told them off in the rudest possible way, you can act like it didn't happen or write it off with a remark like "I'm sure you found my initial reaction unsurprising" or something like that, but don't apologize. The sudden change of tone might actually make it look exactly like you reacted emotionally on your own and then consulted a lawyer and now you're all business and the lawyer is consulting you on what to write them.
