One thing I noticed while playing around with GEO is that a lot of people treat AI content like it’s the whole package. They generate an article, hit publish, and expect it to rank. From my experience, that doesn’t really work unless the on-page SEO is dialed in.
*I tested this on two different sites:
*Here’s what worked best for me so far:
What I learned is that GEO content + sloppy on-page = wasted effort. GEO content + proper on-page = traffic starts moving.
Has anyone here automated parts of on-page SEO with GEO? Like schema generation, internal links, or meta optimization? Curious to know if there are reliable setups for this.
*I tested this on two different sites:
- Site A: I just posted AI-generated content (decent quality, keyword-focused).
- Site B: I took the same kind of content but actually optimized on-page – titles, meta descriptions, internal links, schema, even image alt tags.
*Here’s what worked best for me so far:
- Meta titles & descriptions: letting AI draft them, then tweaking manually for CTR.
- Headers (H2/H3): feeding keyword clusters into the outline so content covers multiple angles.
- Internal linking: not automated yet, but I noticed even a few smart links inside helped.
- Schema: AI can spit out basic FAQ or Article schema, but I still check them with a validator before posting.
