OMG... The tension... Only 3 Hours Left

Have you PMed meathead yet?

Yeah, I PMed him as soon as I read his post :D:D:D

I'm chatting with one of the previous buyers right now, and I might just delete the -8's bid and sell it to the next highest (2300)...

Oh well. :baby09:

EDIT: I don't think movie sites can be valued at at 10x.. Maybe 3x (According to a very experienced source).

Is it really making $2k per month?

I will admit that i had also made a lot of mistakes when i first started to list on flippa, but that was with $100 - $200 sites.

I feel sorry for you buddy, and I hope it all works out in your favour.

Yeah. I made about 500$ with non-incentive offers, then got banned for iFraming + Content Lockers, lol.

Omg, it won"t let me delete the dudes bid..!!!

:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

This is fucking gay... So much for starting a new venture :(:(:(.

I agree should a website be valued at roughly 10 months earnings...???

Not in the movie niche. 3x is high in my experience. The buyer is basically taking on all the risk of a site that can be taken down at anytime and is almost impossible to monetize through legitimate means unless they are purely informational. Contrary to popular belief, linking to copyright material is still illegal in most parts and if someone in Hollywood wants you shut down, you want last long :)

Doesn't mean they aren't lucrative to run, but selling them is a whole different story. You could get lucky with the ocassional dumb buyer, but that's really not a sustainable business model and won't make you many friends nor will it bring you repeat business. As a broker, I don't really take sites like this on for these exact reasons.

Nevertheless, I've given the OP some private tips so good luck to him!

Please do not take offence but you appear to be out of your league? I seriously would take advice from meathead or even shoot a pm to Greg(BassTrackerBoats) as they really do know their shit when it comes to selling a website and you could earn quite a bit more than you potentially could at the moment

Please dont take offence btw :)

@wannabie:

None taken :D.

I acctually DID PM Meathead like you said :).

My 2 cents... it is illegal (in the US at least) to link to movies. Google "ICE domain name seizures" and you will see what happened earlier this year.

Also, iframing the submit part of an offer could get you in (legal) trouble as well.

Meathead1234 makes me look like a meathead when it comes to knowledge about selling a site.

In fact, I peel his grapes for him in that arena.

love the way you handle yourselves meathead and greg =]
(confident, yet humble and honest)

OP, did you make that site from scratch or install a script/the theme came with all those features? just curious. goodluck hopefully someone bids again!

Not a big fan of grapes, but you're welcome to open me a beer (even if they are "warm" in my neck of the woods) :D

I say the same about you when talking about SEO so it's swings and roundabouts

I'm in London in about three weeks for a meeting with Latiitude Group if you're about? I wouldn't mind buying you a beer and putting a face to the name?

Thanks, bro.

If I don't I'll make sure there will be no pixel on that site without a CPA offer link!!! :p.

I've already done too many mistakes so far, so I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't really sell :(:(. It was a good experience non-the-less.

That's a great attitude, brush off and start again if it goes tits up ;)

love your site style. nice design.

Quite possibly, drop me a PM nearer the time. I usually keep a reasonably open schedule.
