I don't know him personally but from what I could feel from this thread he seems a great guy and I think he will come out of this fine...

I don't know how much I can donate after my losses due the AC crackdown... but I suppose can live without a premium account at Grepolis... At least I know the money would be put to good use here.. :)

just i wanted to ask you is that if the paypal is not informed in advance, will they not limit olden's paypal account.
I guess many of the blackhatters might be sending him money, but if it is limited then what is the use of all the money sent to him.

hope i will get appropriate answer for this as paypal limited my account. though it was for some diff reason

Time to give some back from the massive discounts I had on his products here on BHW...:D

Even if he doesn't need it and finds a solution for his bills...

I'm sure he will find a good destination for the money like a donation on behalf of all of us to a good cause, like the people of Haiti...
 
Bit of advice,

Don't panic my friend...and don't sell your house

You have a bit of time as much as 3 months before they send the hounds after
you.

I just went through a similar situation though I have insurance it was a
70/30 plan so it was on the hook for a fair sum of money...the hospital
and doctors will usually work with you if can pay something.

Remember you can take a loan on the house, if you have any equity
and there maybe some other working solutions.

Once you are out of the hospital and can see the full extent of the
financial debt, then you can make some moves.

F'n insurance companies looking for anyway to drop you....assholes...has nothing to
with your current disorder and they find something F'wads

My advise is to get well first and deal with debt later...they can't collect from a dead man

Oh ya, please tell me Olden's side of the story. Put it in some complaint board. (Don't copy and paste please, we don't want Olden to get sued by the insurance company, just anonymously make something up that's essentially the same).

I would donate 1 million post xrumer blast :D. More will come till that insurance pay. Won't work if they have a very strong case though.

I mean, is ulcer something significant to report? If I have brain cancer and I don't report it, that's significant. If I have a mosquito bite and I don't report well those guys are just looking for trouble.

We got to be careful here. There are many things that are legal in US but illegal to threaten. So we need to avoid racketeering charge. The way things work for in western world is you never threaten people. You just shot. Then let them decide whether they want to beg for your mercy or not. Tiger Wood case, for example, is not racketeering.

I don't know how much Olden earned per year but student earn more than coach is normal. Give you an example, law students were taught by their lecturers but they earn much more than lecturers when become a lawyer.
Same theory in IM, if you're smarter and working harder than your coach, you should be able to earn more than your coach.

we are self employed, so don't have an employer pay for insurance. there isn't an insurance program out there that is reasonable enough that we can buy into. to top it off, we also make to much to be considered for public assistance......

needless to say, something has to be done here in the us (not trying to talk politics here) but there are too many innocent people that suffer because health insurance are too greedy to care.
